Hmmm I am pretty sure I weigh the same as a month ago, as 2 months ago... I'm tracking all my food and getting more exercise than ever. I'm still the weight of a large cow. Well at least I haven't gained  :-\\\\ :-\\\\

Right there with you, sister!  :(  (only not tracking my food, or getting as much exercise, probably)

I know that feeling all to well even my trainer knew there was something wrong with me before I was diagnosed with PCOS. Because the routine she had me was hard an I wasn't losing anything :P an she said I should be losing loads of weight but I wasn't but thankfully I wasn't gaining anything either.  [smiley=confused.gif] Well do your clothes fit you any better if you don't think you haven't lost any weight?

Get better, my lovely. ((Hugs))

You too, darlin'.  :-*

Sounds like your body is being stubborn. Maybe try cutting back some carbs or Low GI for a bit to see if it kicks off any weight loss for you? It sounds like you are doing great!

I agree with Jewlz about trying the LO GI diet.  ;)  Dh & I are on the LO GI diet an to us its actually not a diet its just a much healthier way of eating basically all you do is cut out the white foods an replace them with whole wheat products instead.  :)

Oh well I already do that - brown everything for me - I've always preferred whole wheat - I like the textures better - and it fills me up more

The one part of that I don't really comply with is the beer part- I like that too much- and well I'd rather be fat then give up beer.   :)

Ahh I see I have never liked beer or wine even before I was trying to lose weight.  :P  [smiley=bleck.gif]  my friends if they saw me drinking a beer they knew I was drunk an it was time to cut me off lol. ;)  I do agree that the whole wheat food does fill me up more & I stay full longer as well we both have had whole wheat pasta & brown rice for so long now it doesn't taste any different to us.  :)

For me, I'd focus less on the weight and how I feel. If I keep active and eat a relatively balanced diet, I wouldn't worry to much about the weight, TBH. For me, it's about a healthy lifestyle. There's just too much focus and pressure on that in society, especially for women.

That being said, I feel rubbish lately and have spent all my time in bed, so I know I feel cr*p. Hope to be back at it soon.

Times are tough for us right now, and MIL keeps giving us a lot of mince and things like that, so we can't afford to be too choosy just now. We have been getting a lot of vegetables from FIL's garden, so that helps balance things out. Also, we are under too much stress to really worry about our weight too much just now, and since we quit smoking, we've both been putting some on! I had to buy a new suit for my interviews in a size larger because my trousers are too tight.  :-[ But, better to not feel fat and squeezed into a size too small when I am trying to be confident and make a good impression. I do feel when we get jobs and things start looking up, we will be able to focus more on our diet and losing weight. Right now, I'm just proud that we are three months smoke free today, considering all that has happened to us these last few months.

Congrats on three months smoke free today! That's awesome!  ;D

Being a non smoker is good for your health. I wouldn't worry about the weight at all. You are trying to keep active, which is great for stress management and maintaining health - so much more important than the number of someone's weight.  :)

Good for you!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Oooh a slight budge- 1 whole pound this last week.  It's probably water weight. But I'll take it today.

1lb lost is still good in my book great job!!  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

You would have thought by now I would be somewhat used to my new glute gym routine but man its till hurts a bit so afterwards I have started sitting on the Power Plate for a min that seems to help a bit. I use the Power Plate for other stuff as well to me that's my favorite thing in the gym I look forward to lol.  ;)  ;D  I use for stretching, toning, & massaging.

For those of you who don't know what a Power Plate is here a link to what it is & does.

After a bout with sciatica that had me out of service for about a week, two days at the gym, then another week away, I finally got back at it today. I actually felt really good and that surprised me! I was really happy and hope I'm on the mend for good. I have to keep up my stretches for my back so the sciatica doesn't come back.
