7lbs isn't too bad a weight gain, I'm sure once you start back at the gym you'll just melt that off again.
Well some people know this and some people don't, but after spending half my life on a diet and the other half fighting to keep weight off, I got to the end of my rope with it all and decided to have Weight Loss Surgery, I've been researching it on and off for awhile now and been on the NHS track for about a year (psychiatric, pre-op testing and diet).
It's been about two weeks and with the pre-op diet I'm down about 25lbs and losing steadily.
I've been really feeling well, I was up and about almost immediately, my diabetes is gone and generally have had no pain or discomfort, right now i'm on soft foods and struggling to eat as much as I need, but it's not too bad. I've been pretty happy overall and glad I've made the decision to finally go for it
