There are always a few cups of instant coffee or tea at work, real coffee in the morning at home, and two liters of water a day--for me that is a must! I get seriously dehydrated when I don't drink my two litres and my rosacea will flare up as a result as well.
I was just recently diagnosed with having rosacea an the not drinking enough that's something I didn't know about but makes sense to me now so Thanks Andee for the tip.
I have to say I haven't been drinking enough water so if I up my water intake maybe my rosacea will calm down as well.
I know when I go to the gym after about 20 mins my face is really red
it looks like I have been at the gym for hours an not 20 mins lol the only upside to that is people think I have been working really hard & been there a while lol.
I take snacks on walks, especially if it's anything that's going to go over a few hours. Even if I don't eat them, it's nice to have them if I feel I need something and keeps me from dashing into some place and eating something I shouldn't.
I always keep a snack size baggie with a palm full of raw whole almonds in my purse for in case of emergencies so I don't go an buy something impulsively an blow my diet cause I'm hungry.
I'm not quite as bad, but if I'm really hungry I get very, very quiet and tired. I've been known to miss meals just because I was busy or distracted, and I've not yet managed to figure out something I can eat before exercise, which means on days when I work out in the morning I end up only being able to drink water until about 11.
I've managed to keep the weight off I lost because of the flu--so here's hoping I lose about five pounds more. Had a riding lesson today and I was PANTING, so I clearly need to up my fitness.
The only thing I can eat right before I go to the gym is a banana if I eat anything else I get a upset tummy & sometimes cramps. if I go to the gym in the morning I usually have to wait about 45 mins before heading to the gym to let my breakfast settle down.
I ended up taking yesterday off trying to let my sore muscles heal. I snacked a lot (but on healthy things) and I was sure that I had lost some of the progress I made last week. Then I weighed myself this morning, I lost 4 pounds last week! I spent about 80 minutes working out and consumed between 1300 - 1700 calories a day. I did try to watch my salt intake most days, but I wasn't always very good with it.
Congrats on your weight loss!!
