What's in your Graze box this week?
« on: April 30, 2009, 08:05:25 PM »
Okay, everyone is on the "Anything good in the post" thread talking about getting their Graze boxes.  I'm curious what everyone is getting and whether it's good or not.  In the spirit of fair play, here's what I got today:

Fresh fruit: Pineapple - awesome delish
Dried fruit: Morello cherries.  I usually don't like cherries, but these were wonderful
Nuts: American Nut mix - walnuts, brazil nuts, and pecans.  Pretty good.

Edited to reply: I don't think so - you can say "don't like" to all the dried fruit options and then you'll get some other "snack mix"

Edited to add: if you want to try a free Graze box, go to graze.com and enter the code 9V5QN61G or any of the other codes posted by UKY folk in other threads.  I think you can just sign up for the free box and then either indefinitely postpone a second delivery or cancel altogether.

Do you have to get a serving of dried fruit? I'm not really a fan.

I want pineapple!! They keep giving me other stuff - not that I mind it, but pineapple would be my favourite.

Today I had apple slices, American nut mix (fabulous!) and dried strawberries.

I don't really like dried fruit much either, to be honest. It's way too sweet for me.

I'm not sure how many more Graze boxes I'll get, but as long I keep getting £1 off I'm happy!  :)

nevermind, i think i figured it out!

i totally thought you all were referring to some obscure uk holiday where everyone gets a graze box, like how people do easter baskets or those crown things for uk christmas celebrations...i even asked my boyfriend to explain it to me and he said he had no idea. then i googled and realized how off-base i was! oops.

Chary, if you go into the "Browse & Rate" tab when you're signed in you can go into the "Fresh Fruit" section.  If you select "Love it" for Pineapple they should send it more often.   ;)

My box came yesterday:
Large: Red Grapes
Med: Roasted Pistachios
Sm: Yogurt Coated Peanuts (bleh)

A friend of mine got lemon salted Almonds and said they were fantastic!

If there's something you really want to try if you go through the Browse & Rate section, then select like it or love it - you're more likely to get it quicker.   ;)  You can also eliminate things you don't want sent to you by binning them in advance.   ;D

No, when / if you sign up if you go the "Design your own" route you can choose what you want in your box.  Your large punnet always seems to be fresh fruit though, but the Med & Small vary depending on the selections you make:

Med: choose from either "special dried fruit mix" or "something from the entire range", alternatively you can opt to pay 50p more for olives

Small: nuts, seeds, dried fruit or natural treats

There are pre-mixed selections you can chose, but you don't really get much control over them like you do with the design your own...   ;)

Yup, I've done all that. But still no pineapple.  :(

Yes, but it's nothing that will go bad in a day. (The idea is to eat it the day you get it.)

I had pineapple last week, it was great! (Sorry Chary!)

I ordered Guy a box last week too and he got pineapple! The whole world is getting pineapple except for me!!  >:(

I'm away next week and have cancelled Thursday's box, so we'll see if I get any the week after.

Aw, could be worse, you could get the same fruit twice in a row.  :P  I like grapes and all, but not that much.  I want something different!   ;D  Thankfully DD helps me eat them.   ;)
