upackweship- container option versus dropping it off yourself

I wondered if anyone has used the option of getting the large container delivered to your house, packing it yourself and then having youpackweship pick it up versus dropping your stuff off at the warehouse.

My fiance called them and they recommended the large container option. Anyone have any experience with that method?

No experience on the actual move, but when I got my preliminary quotes it was almost $300 cheaper if I take my stuff to them instead of having them pick it up, so if you CAN get it down to them (and they're in NJ), I'd probably do that just for saving the money!  Of course, I won't be doing a full container, just 10-12 boxes.

What did they quote you for 10-12 boxes? Just curious,because I was planning on the same thing - dropping it off with them. And I'll probably have about the same amount. Hopefully!

I'm at my cousin's right now without my computer to check my old inbox, but I think it was around $675?  I remember it was almost $1000 to have them come get it, and it was at least $300 cheaper to take it to NJ myself! I'll check when I get home.
