What about that place in Camden, Henry & Daughter, they do gorgeous bespoke wedding dresses? I am not sure how expensive they might be though.

I couldn't find an outfit, no.  But I have some plans which definitely involve corsets.  I tried one on and it was fabulous, but I couldn't wear it as an outergarment for church wedding, the priest (and my mother) would have a fit!

Can you find a top to match the color of the corset maybe, and wear the corset over it? Like maybe a silk-type blouse and then either an overbust or an underbust corset on top?

I've ordered from them a few times. If they have your size in stock, they deliver it next day!

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Or a mesh type blouse / top to wear over it so it tones it down a little.  I have a fab black corset with white polka dots ...I wear it all the time with a little bolero over the top...If I walked around without the bolero on, the general public and my hubby would have a fit  ;)

Thanks, I'll check them out.  But time constraints mean I think I can only do off-the-peg.

If green in the theme...what about getting a Ivory dress and accessorising with green items...perhaps a beautiful green bolero or silk pashmina or a sash around your middle, hair fascinator, little bag.... or go completely far out and get these...

Here's another couple of sites, but if you can rent something at this late stage, it's probably better. There is a costumer in Wales one of my couples used last year, I'm trying to find out what the name of it is. They aren't expensive, and the gowns were gorgeous!

But for now,,,

and this company is in the States, but they ship. I have gotten things from them when at the Renfest in Texas.

You will find something tho, all of us backseat Brides love to help :)

edit,, here is the link to the costume place that rents out gowns:

and some on my blog, but you have to see these in person to appreicate the details in them.

What do you think the jester's reaction was when he got told what he will be for the wedding.  It's cute though.

LOL, he picked it out himself! He really played the part later at the reception too,, sneaking bits from the chocolate fountain, he is the bride's son.

The ones from Rivendell Bridal are gorgeous!

Les yeux dans les mêmes reflets,
Pour cette vie et celle d'après
Tu seras mon unique projet.

Je t'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerai.

Oh my gosh, what a nightmare!

Rivendell Bridal makes amazing dresses, but since the seamstress makes them to order, I don't know if 3 weeks would give enough time.

I second DF's suggestion for a lace bolero over a corset. I love that look---edgy but also sweet.

Please post pictures when you find something!

ETA: I don't know what color green you're going for, but this bolero from Etsy is beautiful:http://is.gd/CriI .
