Can americans apply right to a UK uni?

In my experience, they have taken a look at my SAT scores but not ACT. UK unis love it when you have AP scores, a score of a least 4 out of 5. I have applied for BA-twice (with acceptances, just bad finances ), so if you need help just pm me
