Forgive me, it's a silly question!
« on: June 09, 2009, 02:04:16 PM »
I'm filing form 1040 and 2555 - do I put my UK income (in dollars) on line 7 of Form 1040 where it asks for Wages, salaries, tips, etc - or do I enter 0 and just attach 2555?  :-[

Enter the income on line 7.  If the exclusion covers your full wages, then you enter the same amount as a negative on line 21.  Line 22 will then be Nil (assuming no other income for this example).
