Aww.  Too bad.  Really sorry to hear that he was suffering from cancer.

I guess there goes my chance of him showing up at my house with an oversized cheque. :(

I had completely forgotten about Star Search! I just remember that my parents put the old junker TV in my bedroom for storage and I used to stay up when I was 10 (1984!) and plug it in and watch the Tonight Show and usually fall asleep in the middle of it...until my dad cut the plug off >:(...fond memories.

I thought I had heard about this...now I see it's completely true.

Goodness......3 people passing in the matter of days.  Lots of sad news lately.
