Is it a New England thing maybe?  We always had hamburger relish growing up- tomato based.

Yeah, maybe!  I've never heard about it before!  (Chicago girl here)

I was in Lidl the other day to pick up monterey jack slices and checked out their "American" offerings - what the hell is "Hamburger Sauce"?  It's pink!  All I can think is that maybe it's like Big Mac special sauce??

My husband stopped at Aldi this afternoon to pick up some Hershey Bars. They didn't have any even though they had everything else advertised. Boo hiss!

Wait, is Lidl doing the "American" thing too? I went in there yesterday looking for the jack cheese and didn't see it.

Mine had just a few things - the aforementioned hot dogs in jars, the jack cheese (the 1840 brand in the orange and black package), some vile-sounding chilli crisps, microwave popcorn, and the sauces.  Not a whole lot, and scattered all over the store - maybe they were left over from an earlier promotion?

Dh & I went to Aldis tonight after work I got several packages of Reese's PB cups & several packs of Hershey's white chocolate cookies & creme candy bars.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

I don't know about you all, but I had never had a hot dog from a jar while growing up in the States.  It just looks wrong...
Thank you for posting about the Reese's pieces though.  I normally don't shop at Aldi but will be making a trip there this afternoon.

I saw those hot dogs in a jar an Dh knows my opinion on those they just look nasty & disgusting  [smiley=bleck.gif]  I have never seen hot dogs in a jar before when I was growing up or my adult years either. the closet thing to that would be Vienna sausages in the little cans.

Um, and not to mention, American Style Tomato Relish???? Hubby's family had the jar sitting there on Father's day... It says American Style... Really. Anyone ever seen tomato relish in the States? I know I haven't

Hamburger relish??

All the relish I ever saw in the States was that green pickle relish that I hate. But the red tomato relish? Is that a US thing??? I didn't think so!

Oh, weird! I worked in a grocery store in Pittsburgh for months, and never once saw this...

Yeah, maybe!  I've never heard about it before!  (Chicago girl here)

I have to agree with Princesslemons & Geeta I have only seen the green pickle relish I'm from the Midwest Indiana girl here. I never heard about it or seen it either the tomato relish it didn't look very appetizing to me so we passed on that lol.

Oh crap I have to stock up on Reese's cups too now! :( Woolworths always used to have them. Clearly that is no longer an option.

They have Reeses pieces and Peanut butter cups at my Tesco.  Not in the candy aisle, but in the candy end cap.

Morrisons has all 3 in at the mo where I live.  Reeces pieces and peanut butter cups are from memory about £0.49 or £0.59.  The nutragous was a bit more expensive.

*gasp* HERSHEY'S! Oh I am so excited.

Tesco has had Nutrageous and Reeses Pieces for a while. But I want a real hershey bar!

Problem is it will probably be made by cadbury's and not taste quite the same.  Like Cabury's in the US is made by hershey and isn't quite the same.
