Heh heh, Mrs R. I knew you'd got it from the song without you even telling us! ;)

Mine is just a word used to describe a certain type of woman from Baltimore. It's more about the local accent and caricature-like woman, so usually only locals get it. I'm not a true Balmer Hon, but I feel by using it as my user name, I'm paying tribute to these often wacky characters.

"sheateawholepie" was a rumor started about me in middle school. One of my "friends" told the popular crowd that she witnessed me eat an entire pie. Coupled with the fact that I was taller and slightly bigger than the other kids, the rumor took hold, and for a week, a lifetime in middle school, I was taunted, teased and humiliated.

At the time, I was beyond consoling. But now that I'm in my thirties, I don't know a single person who hasn't eaten a whole pie, pizza, cheesecake, gallon-tub of ice cream, etc.

Having "sheateawholepie" as my go-to internet handle (It's also my email, Facebook and Email addresses and blog.) just reminds me to keep things in perspective... what may bother me today will likely be trivial tomorrow.  :D

Well mine is a nickname I had for Dh when we first started dating [smiley=love.gif] & also Dh set up my UKY account an asked me what online name I would like so I said the first name that popped into my head an that was Shugga. the reason Dh set up my account is because before I moved to the UK I had never used a forum. Because I moved from Baltimore to the UK.

It was hard enough coming up with that I'm too lame to come up with a new one now that I'm in Dublin!

Yes, because one of my very first UKY friends (and closest friend in the UK) thought it was some sort of inspirational name....like 'Be More in the UK! Yeah!' Haha!
