He lost so much weight recently some are suggesting he might have had anorexia.  That might explain the heart attack if he was otherwise healthy, especially with combined with drugs that suppress breathing.

Did you keep the email saying you'd got the ticket?  I think that would be far cooler (and a lot cheaper!).

Yes, I've got that! I was going to save it as a precaution until I actually got the tickets (before he died).

I think taking the refund and keeping the email is definitely the wisest choice!

I think the music, and anything on vinyl, are the best keepsakes (well, along with that email!).

(They're now starting to advertise for the "Commemorative Plates" - no thanks!)

So how crazy is it that Michael Jackson has five albums in the top 10 of the UK album chart? I've finally picked up that Thriller album (well, CD) that I've been coveting since 1983. Have listened to Human Nature probably 10 times today! It was my favorite when I was a bitty kid.

I think I've finally moved past shock and into celebration of the music of this talented and tragic man.

I hope it's a happy occasion. I don't mean that in a heartless way but, as caligurl said, it kind of feels good to be able to celebrate his life and music now.

Me too; watching right now. It's very heart wrenching to see that casket there.

Can't take my eyes off the memorial service, find it incredibly sad.

However, wtf are his kids doing there?  Didn't he specifically wish for them to lead private lives?  Hasn't the littlest "Blanket" never been publicly exposed?  This seems to blatantly go against what he'd want.

So much for that.   ::)  I wonder if the little one wanted to speak or was asked to do so?  Poor wee soul.
