Hi

I was never admited into hospital when I visiting A & E during my Overstay.

So this was legal?

When I was on a 6 month visitor visa recently, I registered at a doctors. They looked at my passport and told me I was allowed to register as long as I was a legal visitor.

I have a NHS Medical Card... do I need to include this with my application? Do I need to disclose any of this regarding my overstay A & E trips?????

EDIT: I remembered that Ilak has an advisor and should follow that advisor's advice regarding this.

Ilak, this forum is great for support.  If you're having nerves, you should post about it elsewhere so people can offer support.

Only persons on a visa of more than 6 months are eligible to the NHS for other than A&E treatment and cannot register at a GP. Just like with your Provisional License you should not have been able to do so.

Visitors are allowed A&E treatment and family planning services ONLY anything further such as GP appointments would need to be paid for as a private patient. See: http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Healthcare/Entitlementsandcharges/OverseasVisitors/Browsable/DH_074379.

You already stated these things in your letter.

Hi I would like to ask one last thing I forgot to mention... do I need to mention getting my license, bank account, and going to A & E in my overstay letter? I know Vicky said include these as they won't get me in any trouble, they will only help showing genuine relationship with the address on there...

I registered with a doctor while on my 6 month visiting visa. Not during my overstay. I have a NHS Card showing details of my doctor and location. Should I add this with my application or is it not necessary?

Vicky, if you can guide me on this small question I would appreciate it.

Thank you x

I would suggest emailing Vicky as she asked above.  You are quite unlikely to recieve an answer from her on the forum anymore.

Hi,

As you all know me and my husband are struggling on 2 things. Overstay & Finances. As you probably also know, he doesn't have a bank account. He was in too many arrears and once he payed them all off, he closed his account. This was because I opened one up and I need to add his name on so this is a joint account. Plus, his work is payed cash BUT he does earn payslips and pays taxes. Work is legal, all proof if this will be provided.

I asked questions regarding this, but if we can back everything up, I would like to know if it might suffice. Meaning, him lacking the bank account will be explained, and his boss will state he's paying in form of cash (along with payslips), and that his income is not put into an account. He will explain reason's for income being payed this way.

Also, my husband earns about 1000 GB monthly. I realize this is alittle low.

My husband has been at this job for about 2 1/2 months. His boss will make it clear that my husbands income will increase in the future. He started at 800/month and now is at 1000/month and this is still pending as he will be working full time eventually.

With all this confirmed in the employer letter, will it help?

As I know income is alittle low.

Any ideas?

Well anyone that can guide me would be great.

We have done our best to answer your questions to the best of our ability. There is not a yes or no answer.

As I stated to you previously on numerous occasions, only you can decide for yourself if you wish to include them or not. They can have a positive AND a negative effect. First they prove you were in the country for the time period and could possibly result in you being able to get ILE (at the discretion of the ECO) but, they also prove that you were in the country illegally and did things you weren't supposed to.

If your goal is to be completely open and transparent then send them.

Just tacking on a word of caution here...  The OP is heavily blame-shifting her entire circumstances on bad advice reportedly obtained from a solicitor in the UK.  She's now looking for advice from random people on the internet, such as UKY and so on.  How much sense does that make?

So please be cautious in what you respond so as to avoid having your stuff show up in even further blaming.

Ok well forget all the other posts. I just got some updates from my husband about his work. I'm putting my application thru today finally, just want to clarify what you all think about our finances now...

So he was making 800/month to start with, thats what the first payslip will show. Gone up second month to 1000/month, but starting August 1, he will be fulltime and pay will be between 1200-1400 GB Pounds Monthly. I would say roughly about 1300. This increase in salary will show on his payslips. Also, it will be confirmed from a letter from his Accountant at work.

Means we pay 500/Rent, 30/Water, 35/Electric, and 100/Tax. Sums up to 665. I'll make that 700. 1300-700 = 600.

This meets requirement am I right?

FYI, Water is payed solid 30/month and electric is every 3 months. Comes to about 90/month, I divided that my 3 so its about 30-35 every month. Any extra water usage is billed to my husband at the end of his contracts for the apartment.

We have all reciepts for rent and payed bills to show these are the amounts charged.

This is my last post (atleast until I get my answer from Consulate), so what do you think about the income requirement now? Alittle better? Wish me luck...........

And I thank everyone for ALL they're help. I know I been a pain in the -, but if it weren't for all you guys, then I would still be lost in all this mix up!! You all are great.
