Except for the theatre full of screaming die hard 'fans'.  I could have done without that.

Yep, die hard fans make my skin crawl. :-X

Ugh, absolutely.  They should have special screenings for the scary fans so the rest of us can enjoy the movie without the shouting/screaming/squealing.

Hey, don't tar all of us with the same brush.  Some of us die-hard fans also can't stand the ones who scream and clap and make lots of noise while watching the film.

Under 22: you're excused.
Over 22: not so much.

This thread made me go and buy the five DVD's so I can watch them again before I see the new film.  Dan is *not* happy, but I told him it was Elizabeth's fault. ;)

I weirdly can't wait to se this now!

You're far kinder than me, Mindy!  I'd have made the cutoff 18.

You're probably right.  I just kind of add two years to my own kids who were eight or nine for the first book.
I don't mind fans ( I am one) but the over the top crazy fan just is weird to me.
Sorry, if that offends anyone but hey, it's my opinion.

The movie is too much of a set up for the next film.  There are huge plot holes that are (pressumably) left for the next movie to fill in. And as others have mentioned, the whole thing focuses way too much on the teenage hookups.

It's trying too hard to be The Empire Strikes Back but fails to have the same ending cliffhanger.

I think you should wear them if you want to, cheer when it's appropriate, and please, please turn your phone off. :)

If I had them I would!  Maybe I'll bring Josh's magic wand :P

But if I turn off my phone I can't text all my friends.  :P :P :P :P

I'm sitting with the old hags at the film, so it will be fine :P  (Don't worry, I always turn it off, or to mute)

I really enjoyed the movie, I think it helps that I don't read the books. Everything is a surprise and I have nothing to compare it to.

We saw it yesterday. Eldest loves the books and was sorely disappointed. He gave it a 6 and a half. ;D  Youngest entertained himself with his pick n mix and hid at all kissing bits. He gave it an 8 with two deduction points for too much kissing.  I wasn't expecting greatness so wasn't that disappointed. I agree with everyone's comments here...except the ones who loved it.  Too much dull romance and not enough action. The last half hour was very good but I would've liked to have seen Dumbledore's

as in the book..  And the actress playing Ginny gets my vote for biggest plank of wood in the series!  :-X  Alan Rickman - always good value though! :D
