Part IA, Part UP
« on: July 20, 2009, 09:53:27 PM »
We all have some things that happen that are a bit of an inconvenient annoyance, but part unexpected pleasure as well. Shall we have a home for those events?

My IA/UP: The renovations to our new place have left it a mess. The landlord offered to pay to have a cleaning company clean or give us the money he would have paid a cleaning company and have us clean it ourselves. We opted for the money since we could use it to get stuff for the new apartment. So, while I don't want to clean two places due to moving, I do like having the extra $100!

My biggest one is the same all the time...I was at dancing last night and it was a lot of fun, but it was getting later and later and I realized I had to go home.  So I got back around 11:15, went to bed around midnight, and then woke up at 6:30 AM.  Tired!

The other one I have is for some reason after I have a huge dinner (the UP), I'm always hungry the next morning (the IA)!  Why is that?

My fabulous hairdresser asked me to be a guinea pig model for a new de-frizzing treatment she was thinking of carrying.  It's turned out SO fabulous, and it was free!

The only downside is that no one told me it's similar to getting a perm in that I can't get my hair wet for two days.  I also can't use hair bands or clips to pin it back/up, so my hair is starting to look like a shaggy, smelly mess.  Blurgh.

Oh, no! How much longer until you can shampoo?

Mine is: My father is letting us borrow his truck so we can move stuff into our new apartment, but we had to drive the 3 hour round trip to go get it because he wouldn't meet us halfway.

Is now having flashbacks of the ticker fiasco a few years ago.  :o That definitely stinks if you have so much longer to go and can't even put it up!

The twelve year old has been invited to a sleepover tonight. Great!  Except it's over a mile away which means me walking there and back this afternoon and tomorrow morning.  Which I know is lazy of me to complain but I just don't feel like it.

I cut and pasted the part that was under 'bbCode' in the Signature box.  Then somehow when I saved it, it worked!!
