UP: I have a fridge full of Coors Light that my husband found at Tesco! [smiley=laugh4.gif]

IA: I am to sick to enjoy one this weekend.   :(

UP: My Naturalisation application is complete & I have an NCS appointment to submit it.

IA: The above combined with all the fees with my ILR earlier this year, the petition for my husbands US visa, the Medical for his visa and the FEE for his visa, the extra documents we needed to order for his visa AND the multiple trips to London associated with his visa...this is an expensive Year!

IA: My washing machine keeps flooding my kitchen when I wash clothes, and I don't know why.

UP: I rent! So I can (and have) just call the landlord and have her deal with it. ;)

We're home & all unpacked now!  Went out for supper to our local eat-in curry restaurant (just down the street).  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

It's effin' cold here  [smiley=elf.gif] after all those 75-85 degree days we enjoyed in Morocco.  >:(  And now, holiday's over & I need to put the winter duvet on the bed.  Poor DH is back to work tomorrow, and me on Tuesday.  :\\\'(

IA: Overslept because I forgot to turn my weekday alarm on.

UP: Means I get to work from home! (A follow-up IA is that I wanted to work from home later in the week, and in theory I only work from home 1 day/week...but it's my last week, so I don't really care. ;))

Ordered some clothes from Next, but have to send most every top back, as they are far too bely-hugging and you can see every roll going on there.  :-[

But, the jeans I ordered, in a size larger than the other jeans I have, fit perfectly and are a bit higher-waisted so they hold the belly in a bit.  ;) At least, they will keep me from cutting off circulation until I can manage to really lose some weight, hopefully.  :P

UP: Sounds like my plumbing is fixed!

IA: Part of the reason it was hosed was due to dog hair, and my landlord's upset about the "condition" of the flat. :( I don't claim that it's spotless, by any stretch, but I did my regular clean this weekend, so I'll need to clarify what she wants improved. Worst case scenario, though, I suppose I just opt to hire someone to come in to do it so that everyone's happy (except my bank account).

My landlord's been pretty great, in general. And I don't mind keeping the flat a bit cleaner. (Though, on the other hand, I kind of figure that's what my security deposit is for, too...if I decide to move out and I leave the place covered in fur, the cost of de-furring the flat comes out of my deposit, so no loss - except to me. And in the meantime, I'm paying to have myself and my pets in the flat, so until I decide to leave - or somehow violate the terms of my lease - who cares how furry the place is?)

But whatever, even if I have to pay for a cleaner to come in twice a month or something, at least then I won't have to worry about how clean it is.

That's the one!  Well we like it, but one of Steve's friends who also lives here in town didn't like it (but I don't know why not).  We've gone twice - once on Wednesday & once on Sunday, because they do that special on Wednesdays & Sundays where for a tenner (per person), you get poppadom & dips, starter, main course, rice or naan, and coffee.

You'll get used to it -- not that you really want to  ;D

IA: I'm feeling a bit homesick today.

UP: I whipped up some really fantastic salsa and might even break out the emergency queso.

UP: £40 vouchers for clothes

IA: don't have the £60 to spend on clothes, in the voucher requirements
