UP: I really want to be back in Leeds with DH and have a "normal" relationship with both of us in the same place.  [smiley=love.gif] And am working towards that end, planning on finishing up here in 2012.

IA: His renal consultant is going to start prep for dialysis in January 2011 -- so may have to dump all plans and move back sooner than planned.   :-\\\\

Hope things improve for him!

UP: feeling pretty happy about the weekend overall ;D

IA: started today by spilling coffee all over my feet, the floor.........  ::)

IA: Overslept because my phone apparently doesn't think 7:30 means 7:30. Or perhaps it thought that because it was on vibrate, alarms could be silent.

UP: Still got to work early anyway, so no harm done (plus extra sleep).

IA: Got home yesterday and DH told me, "The car is broken again."  >:( The front part of the exhaust was broken, just after we'd replaced the back of it, plus a ton of other things....

UP: We now essentially have a new car, because we have replaced everything in/on it over the past year, save 2 back tires. Hopefully won't have to worry about any other problems for a while - touch wood.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

UP: My flat is as clean as I can get it, pretty much. (Not quite, it'd be cleaner if I were moving out, but since I'm not, it's only 90% there.)

IA: Took me 3 hours to do (and it's a tiny flat!), and I wouldn't be surprised if my landlord still finds something to whine about. And my flatmate's out of town this weekend and made no mention of helping to clean the flat or pay for a cleaner.

IA:  Gosh what a miserable day out!  And I'm cold and my back still hurts.

UP:  At least I'm not at work & I can cozy up to my hot water bottle inside all day.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

UP: I was recognized at Tesco by a girl who reads my blog!  ;D

IA: I was just coming from the gym so I looked a wreck - pink puffy vest, black fleece, brown capri workout pants, gray knitted hat. I told my husband if the fashion police were out they would have pulled me over!

IA: I got carded at Tesco's

UP: I got carded at Tesco's

Fortunately she accepted my CA DL 'cause that's all I had on me. I only turned 18 eleven and a half years ago. And the really silly thing? I was buying cider to put in a soup. All the alcohol will burn off.

Awesome!  I got carded up until I was about 31 or 32--it's a good thing!

Mine is:  IA-- my neck and shoulder still crinked up and aching for weeks now.
UP-- I actually broke down and did something about it.  I've made an appointment for a massage with one of my volunteers at work who is a massage therapist and a reiki practioner, so if I need a bit of reiki on it as well she can take care of it!

UP-MrRed5 is starting to feel better.
IA-Since he is no longer staring at the walls or sleeping he is watching daytime TV.  I can't stand daytime TV.

I'm okay with the idea of being carded except for the part where you have to produce an ID. I don't carry my passport/visa and I can't think of anything else that has my age on it, except my California DL which I carry out of habit, really.

I hope the massage helps. I got one today and I'm really tender now. I should probably drink another glass of water.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to it.  I won't mind being tender if it's because it's ironed out the knots and unblocked my chi!

This is a minor IA and huge UP so keep that in mind.  ;)

IA: I had an absolute sh**e day.  It sucked.

UP: My mom is getting so much better!  Still weak and tired but more feisty by the day.  She also just surreptitiously deposited money in my account for a swank dinner with my sis and boot shopping!  Bomb.com as we say here in NorCal.

Yay for mom feeling so much better!  And yay for boot shopping!  :)

Mine starts with a UP:  Getting an email from the cafe / gallery I played at once to play there again for a huge art opening with mulled wine, the media will be there, 60 artists participating, etc.

IA:  They emailed me about it yesterday night and the gig is this Friday, so no I can't do it 'cause I have to work!  Had I known about it maybe 2 weeks in advance I could have planned around it and done the gig!   >:(

Obviously they knew about this event weeks, if not months ago!  It's a non-paying gig as well so really not gonna bust my butt to try and do it, but it would have been nice.
