IA: My dh decided yesterday after going through all of the stuff we have accumlated and left in his dad's attic we should try and do the local antique fair to help pay for the new pc we are going to buy as ours was on its last leg. We had to be up at 4:30am this morning to get everything ready with the kids in tow.

UP: We made over £600 with items which were collecting dust more than anything else.  ;D

IA: I was up all night on phone to emergency doctors with severe side effects from pain medication. (Nearly fainted twice, couldn't pee, slept all day, lost appetite, vomiting, all sorts of problems.) So I had to stop taking pain meds.

UP: I can't feel anything AT ALL. So I guess the loss of sensation has helped with the pain. Just feeling some headache and slight nausea now.  :-\\\\

((((hugs))))) to you!

IA. I had my Dietitians apt this morning an I'm well right ticked off I didn't lose 1 FREAKING ONCE Grrr. :o  >:( my dietitian said she thinks I have plateaued & also I could well be that I'm building up some serious body muscle as well. The dietitian said that she is surprised most people plateau within 3 months of weight loss but I'm going on 18 months an its now just hitting me lucky me. ::)  :P

UP. A few people at the gym said to me this week they thought that I looked like I was toning up. Dh also mentioned over the weekend that I looked like I had lost some inches around my waist & sides. ;D  :-* most of my clothes that I bought while we were home are fitting me like they did when I first bought as well. I suppose at this moment in time I will take what I can get. ;)  :)

IA: He'll be earning £10,000 less per year than he was earning in his last job.  :-\\\\

UP: we're getting closer to going home and we've given notice on our flat & made arrangements to travel & with our letting agent to have the exit walk through on the Monday before we leave Derby on Tuesday morning.

IA: they phoned last night and want to start bringing prospective tenants to view the flat. Now I've got to deep clean this place earlier than I wanted to since we were going to do that after the 7th when DH is done with work. Now I have to do it all on my own  >:(

Why do you have to clean? Is it in your letting agreement that the place has to be sparkling when they want to start showing people? Tell them that if they want to show the place, they may, but while you will keep the toys picked up and the bed made you won't have a chance to wash the walls or scrub the floor until after the 7th.

I didn't know he was out of work.  ???

Yeah... he lost his job again over a month ago.  :\\\'( The factory closed down, the new owners didn't make the last payment. Rumour has it they lost their other factory, too. I just didn't say anything because I didn't want to keep complaining about the same old troubles from last year, and I come on here and whinge so often as it is.  :-[ But, at least he is in work again now, and he is looking forward to it, and hopeful they may promote him quickly since he was a manager before, or that something else might work out along the way. There aren't many manufacturing jobs left up here, seems everything has gone pear-shaped in the last few years, so it is lucky that he is getting back into work so quickly.

IA: Now that he has a job further from home, we needed a second car....

UP: We bought a second car today for £850! It's actually really nice, considering how little we paid for it. Fingers crossed things go well with the MOT tomorrow or next week. Still, even if repairs cost a few hundred pound, it would still be a good deal.

IA: Insurance for adding a second car is outrageously expensive! They want to charge us an extra £600 per year for the extra car just for third party coverage, which is nearly what we paid for the old car to begin with! Grrrr..... Hoping we can find something more reasonable, but it's proving difficult.  :-\\\\

And a tetanus shot to boot.

Hope your arm doesn't end up being too sore.  Last time I remember getting a tetanus booster (very long time ago now - oh dear!) - my mom was still alive & she kept punching me in the arm afterwards.  She thought she was being funny & kept forgetting I'd had the injection there.  :P
