Be interested to know what you get as I need to replace my old ones (which cramp my foot)  >:(

Unfortunately, I think they are going to be dear - my feet seem to get mangled so easily.  Got DH some top kit boots about a year or so ago, and I might go for those myself as they're supposed to be comfy as soon as you put them on, waterproof, good soles & very lightweight.

You should shop with my friend, HME - who you already know but for one degree of separation.  She found her boots, new, in a charity shop for a song!  Maybe we can have Andee keep her eyes peeled for us...  :D

I have very common feet, unfortunately. Size 7 US, about 5 UK or 38 Euro but would expect to have 1/2 size up for hiking boots. That size is always hard to find in sales, etc.  :(

I'm looking for 7 to 7.5 (UK) - which is sizing up a bit from what I have.  My feet are wide toward the ball of the foot/toes, and narrow at the heel - DH calls them monkey feet.  :-[

Boots or shoes with boot soles?  I really like the Merrills that I bought, but they are low.  I really like my Sundowners, but they are way overkill for anything I would do in the UK.

Walking boots.  DH got Brashers Supalites a year ago Christmas - they are tough & very lightweight - they'll probably last forever.

IA: The dog woke me up at 6 this morning, because he wanted to go out.  :( I was wide awake after that.

UP: I was suddenly stricken with the motivation to bake some bread, so at least there's a good result from it.  :)

UP: We've got 5 people lined up to view our car today.

IA: Most likely will end up with another day wasted sitting around for people who probably won't show up  :-\\\\

IA: We've had to put our new tumble dryer in the living room, since it's bigger than we anticipated and we can't fit it under the stairs like we had hoped.  There's no where else in our wee house to put it.  It's not exactly aesthetically pleasing, and now we can't sit at the table because it's been pushed up against the wall to make room.  There's also the noise.

UP: Who freakin' cares?! I finally have a tumble dryer!  ;D  Clothes, sheets, towels...all dry in 70 minutes!!!  How can something so stupid bring me so much joy!?
