Nice shape? Creepy!

(not that you don't have a nice shape, but you also have a great mind and a fun personality etc!)

Thanks! And yeah, I like how my shape is the sole criterion that he cared about for datability. I'm a little more selective than that - I'd prefer the non-creepy style of individual, not to mention interest in features other than one's physique.

Also his job seems to revolve around watching women sleep then commenting on their body type - SUPER CREEP!

Well, I don't think it's just women who get sleep studies. ;) But yeah, little bit random. Will probably investigate who I can report it to anonymously. (Though I suppose unless he hits on everyone who comes in, it'd be pretty obvious who it was.)

IA: Not getting a job after the 2nd interview because I yawned (Ive been out of work since Christmas, and been waking at 9am - give me a break)

UP: Came home from above and received a letter in the post. Thought it was going to be one of those bog standard ones: 'Thank you for applying you have not been accepted' blahblahblah and it was the opposite. Have an interview on Monday!! Ill try to get as much caffeine in me before I get there. No more yawning for me.

Once, when I was working at a restaurant, I sold like 2000$ in gift cards (around Xmas) and the manager wrote me a lovely note and bought me a gift certificate to Nordstroms. I a) still have the black knit hoody I bought with the money (go Nordies! Quality!) and b) still remember that manager/job with fondness and would actually work for them again in a heartbeat.  Just wanted to say that, the little things really do make a huge difference, and I'm sure those employees really appreciate you thanking them and showing you recognize their work.

IA: still jetlagged and getting no work done
UP: home! (I love our flat...I LOVE our bed...soooo comfy!) and it's sunny!

Geesh - I don't think I'd want to work for a place where they counted me out on an interview just because I yawned.  :P

Good luck on the Monday interview!  :)

You are definitely better off not getting the job.  It sounds like they were just looking for a reason not to hire you and that's never a good way to start a job.  Good luck on Monday Kerri!

Heh - once you're into a job, you'll be wondering what you were thinking...and miss all those days when your time was your own.  ;)

ia: I'll become a 'specialist' but still get the same pay, just have more responsibility and work.

IA:  Worst day at my new job so far!  A member of the public almost made me cry!

UP:  It took three months to have a truly awful day compared with my last job where I walked in to my first day which was horrible and it was all a downhill slide from there.

IA:  I have throbbing headache so I couldn't have my hair pulled back which was getting in my way.  I know it is stress because I can feel it in my shoulders.

UP:  I got to help dress a church for filming for a BBC programme!!  It was so exciting sorting out candles and meeting a few of the presenters.

UP:  I am having coffee with a friend before work tomorrow!

ETA:  UP: A kitty friend was waiting to meet me on my walk from the bus stop to the house.  It really wanted fuss today.
