IA  Saw my doctor today about my blood test.  Besides anemia and low iron my ferritin levels (related to iron storage in the liver) are at 1, and they start worrying when it drops below 10!  :o

IA I have to have another blood test to check fro celiac's disease (it can affect absorption of iron, etc.) and to check my B vitamin and folate levels plus one other thing that could interfere with absorption of iron and B vit's.

Hope they can find an easy fix. Glad you have a great doc  :)

IA - Nothing like shopping for a dress for a wedding to make you feel like despite losing 100lbs you're still a giant fatty.

UP - Found a lovely dress in a boutique in Spittalfields today which previously I'd never go in to because I figured nothing would fit.  ;D

IA:  I got a compression sock to wear for my ankle.  Had to go back to Boots twice because the pharmacist who measured my ankle for it didn't do it right the first time, and the first one I bought at her recommendation (a large) was huge on me - not compressing anything.  I measured my own ankle as per the instructions on the package & I actually needed a small.  ::)  Then I started wearing it today when we were hiking - only because it had a rolled hem on it, it was cutting into my foot (versus there being a smooth fabric under my heel) & actually hurting me rather than helping anything.  What a poor design.  ::)

UP:  So I took it off & was just fine/much better without it.

IA:  Meaning I wasted that money on the compression sock.  :P

Ok, that's a pretty thin UP in there somewhere.

I went shopping for my bridesmaid dress for sister's wedding and the salesgirls made me feel like absolute crap.  I'm not a big girl and they kept saying that I needed to go up a size until I was swimming in some of the dresses.  Also, this was at freaking Nordstrom.  Seriously, also what is with the sizing?  Do they want everyone to feel like crap?  My sister who is normally a 12 US had to get a size 18.

That's how it is with bridal stuff. You always have to get sizes bigger than what you would normally wear. It is an ego buster for sure!

UP: I just put on a pair of jeans that hasn't fit me comfortably in a very long time. They zipped right up with out any sucking in and they feel so great on! I also paired it with a top I bought about 4 months ago and I am swimming in it! Yeah for losing weight and inches!!

IA: I really like that top!

UP: I guess I'll have to go shopping!  ;D

UP:  Getting to leave work early today (half day)!

IA:  I've got to make up for it tomorrow with another half day.

IA: Called Virgin, their cashback deal is only available for all 3 services, so not quite as cheap as I'd hoped.

UP: Still not more expensive than the crap ISP.

IA: Install wasn't available with Virgin until May 11.

UP: Opted in for the cancellations list (since I can get home on 10 minutes' notice) and got called back within 5 minutes of ordering service to say there'd been a cancellation on April 27. :) 2 weeks shaved off, with the possibility of more!

UP: Called crap ISP and had no problems cancelling or getting my install fee refunded.

I thought you already had a dress and a back up dress? ;) I am positive that you will look gorgeous!

This is for another wedding, not mine!

I do have a dress, a back up dress and I'm potentially about to add a third dress for my wedding.

I appreciate I have gone off the deepzone, but can't stop! :)

Oh, I see! ;) At least you know you will look fabulous for your wedding, with 3 dresses to choose from. ;D When will you choose one of the 3?

I think it'd be cool to do musical dresses. Which dress will Mary show up in this half-hour? ;)

Really my relative fatness is going to decide on the dress. My backup dress is very small, it's if hell freezes over and I suddenly get super tiny (relatively tiny!) dress.

My second back up dress is the dress that actually fits now, it's ordered based on my current body size, it's my, if I stall out now and don't lose another pound dress.

My third dress is the, if I lose another couple of inches dress, this is the most likely dress as it's an inbetween size, it wont quite fit now, but hopefully should in a month or two. I've not actually purchased this one yet, this is the one I'm hoping to get this week.

So basically, I'm crazy and could wait until last minute and buy one dress, but as so many dresses take time to order etc, I figured I'd just end up with multiple back up dresses instead spanning all eventualities. This is a very producer thing to do, in my defence :)

Very good logic! It would be so hard to choose a dress in your current situation. You're doing a good job of not freaking out about it. I was a consistent size leading up to my teeny tiny wedding, and I was freaking out. :P
