UP: Three boxes of wedding gifts from my MIL that have been at their place since we were married (because we don't have enough space) were delivered today. We'll ship them to the US.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

UP: The cardboard boxes for the shipping were delivered today as well.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

IA: The apartment is now jam packed with cardboard, and I haven't even put together any of the shipping boxes yet!  :-\\\\

UP: Met up with cheesebiscuit and princesslemons (& hubby) for some fun (and likely humiliating) bowling.

IA: Slacked off and forgot to book bowling, so that didn't happen.

UP: Had yummy food instead, and got Groupon deals for more bowling later!

You didn't slack off, it was collective disorganisation :) I blame the busy week! :)

UP: We had a lovely coastal Pembrokeshire holiday & it was soooo sunny & warm there.  Well not really swimming in the sea kind of warm (people were swimming in wetsuits though), but I only needed to wear a fleece maybe one or two days we were there (and some in the evening) - the rest of the time, coatless.

IA: It's a wee bit chillier up here.

UP: But our weather still looks nice & sunny at least.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Sounds like you had a nice holiday Mrs R!

UP: It's absolutely great having an estate car, I can fit so much into it!

IA: Its seemingly turned into my allotment shed.  I really need to get a shed/cupboard etc for my plot so I can leave my tools, etc there.

Up: we finally took the horrible carpet in the bathroom up (seriously, who puts carpet in a bathroom?)

Ia: the tiles looked a lot better in the package and don't stick right.

Up: discovered there are actual floor boards and they don't look too bad so we'll paint them instead.

Ia: I didn't budget for painting and sanding and bathroom is unfinished until payday.

UP: Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

IA: I've been so sick the last week that I haven't been able to get DH a gift! We had planned on going shopping over this weekend for a while now but of course I wasn't up for it so now I wont have anything to give him tomorrow before I go to work!  It makes me very sad. :(

UP-Out of the blue one of MrRed5's work acquaintances called him.  He wanted to speak about a job opportunity that would mean more money, more responsibility, and a major move for us.
IA-We bought our house 11 months ago.  It will take at least another year for us to be able to either sell it (without loosing a bucketful of money) or rent it out.  Why in the world couldn't this have happened while we were renting?

UP: Did not one but two workouts today (DVD + a run). Felt really good. :)

IA: Now lifting a glass to drink and getting up out of my chair feel like Herculean tasks. ;)

Well congrats on that anyways  :)

UP: Vet visit this morning cost half of what the one 3 weeks ago (at another vet) cost.

IA: Still not quite done, as I need to give my cat steroids for the next 2 weeks so that he'll stop making himself bald.

UP: Estimate for teeth cleaning for my dog is < £300 (over £800 at the other vet!). Plus the vet seemed sensible and didn't think all his teeth are about to fall out.

IA: Can't get the teeth cleaned for another two weeks. Stinky breath!

IA: Went to the post office to collect my driver's license (before it gets sent back to Leeds), but didn't have the right ID.

UP: They're going to hold it there for another 21 days so I have plenty of time to go back.

Up: For the first time in ages, I was able to run on the treadmill for 20 minutes! (I was only running 12 minutes straight before, I don't know why I was able to do 20 yesterday, but I was happy I did!)

IA: My back hates me today for running 20 minutes yesterday! It's a good thing it's legs day today!
