Had to visit the bank 3 times to open an account. The last visit I forgot an important piece of paperwork but the lady opened the account anyway. :)

I was watching my money really carefully because I thought I overspent by waaaaaay too much this month. I hadn't seen the rent check come out of my account, so was worried about making sure I kept money for the rent. I checked again and the rent check was cashed on the 4th! I have way more money this month than I thought!

But I need to use the money to pay down debt, not buy anything fun.  :(

I got rid of the grey, but now I have purpley-brown splotches on my forehead.

I found a bunch of my "skinny" clothes.  And despite them being 4+ years old, most are still pretty in style.

However, I'm not sure why, but they smell a bit "off"  not mildewy but not right.  I'm hoping washing them will help.

It's "Freshers' Week" and there are students everywhere!--but, when they're not in the way, they ARE highly entertaining (mostly when tormenting grumpy bus drivers by trying to a) use an Oyster card or b) pay for the fare with a 20£ note.)

I enjoyed a lovely walk in the rain to and from school, only to come home to overflowing rain gutters.  Now I'm soaked to the skin and grumpy.

A really nice girl gave me a bunch of contacts to try and find rooms at the swing festival in Provence.

It seems all the rooms are rented out already and I might have to rent a car while I'm there to get from wherever I can find a room to the festival.  I reeeeeeally don't want to rent a car in France all by myself.

UP: After my fiasco with Barclays yesterday, RBS said that I could get a bank account!

IA: I have to wait another 3 days while I get another bank letter from my uni, since the first one is addressed to Barclay's and RBS needs one that is addressed to them.  So I'll have to wait until next week to go back.

My DH had Barclays in England and they were pants! Hopefully RBS will be better!

My IA/UP is that I went to IKEA today with a friend and didn't buy a single thing. I don't know what's wrong with me!

Yummy!

I'm going to play the devil here...EAT THEM ANYWAY!   >:D

Just count your calories and burn more. Eat one a day. You can savour them longer that way.

LOL!  If it makes you happy.  I was just doing the calorie counting thing this summer.    I don't think three at a time is going to make you gain, anyway :)

Walking into the sitting room and finding our neighbhor's cat sitting on the chair.  I don't know when he came in or how long he's been here!  I adore him and give him kisses,  [smiley=smitten.gif] but the IA part is that he's supposed to be banned from our house because my allergies have been acting up hugely and he's the main reason for it.  :(

I ate a whole box of chocolates I got for my birthday, plus loads of other stuff over the last few months. I've still managed to lose weight, though, because I just try to count calories most of the time (i.e. I am good all week, then tend to splurge on weekends). I mean, you have to live! And it should be about lifestyle changes, not hardcore dieting. Who can live without chocolate?! You have to work that in somehow.  :)

My UP/IA: DH has agreed to dress up for Halloween if we are indeed going to a party, but would like a costume (Ace Rimmer from Red Dwarf) which would require loads of faffing about to come up with. *sigh*
