Good luck to your hubby BD!
Thanks. Haven't heard from him yet but assume no news is good news!

Good thoughts for your DH BD!

IA: I am really starting to despise my job - dont want to go into the office when I go to the states - I can't wait to not have to deal with them but its a paycheck

UP: forced me to start applying for jobs here - god knows how long that will take ;-)

Good thoughts for your DH BD!

Thanks all! Just had a phone message that it's done and he's just leaving the eye hospital. Sounded fairly chipper.

IA: I was supposed to look at a horse next weekend, but the woman rang and wants me to come up Tuesday instead.
UP: I, uh, might have a horse on Tuesday!

Ruth Carr's. The "Hey Up" mare.  We're taking a smallish horsebox up to York. If she's got 4 good legs and decent movement, we'll probably load her up and bring her home!

IA:  I completely forgot I had muffins  baking in the oven!
UP:  I remembered at the last minute--another minute and they would have been burned!

UP: Sat outside reading yesterday & got a little tan/burn/some colour - just enough that keeps you feeling comfortably warm when you come inside afterwards, like you're still holding the sun in your skin.  8)

IA: Then all of a sudden, got really homesick for Florida - because I felt like that all year-round there.  :\\\'(  (DH tried to cheer me up - 'but it's better for your skin here!')

IA: I woke up when BF did today, which is normally around 5:15 AM (he goes to the gym before work).  I was so grumpy and couldn't understand why I felt so wide awake.

UP: It turns out he overslept and it was actually 6:30, which is when I normally get up.  We got to have breakfast together before he went to work, which was a rare and very unexpected pleasure.  :)

UP: It stopped drizzling just long enough for me to walk to the post office and back.

IA: They're closed in observance of a Local Holiday.

UP: Getting really excited for upcoming visit to the old homestead (i.e. Leeds)

IA: Just realized I'll miss the beginning of the new Doctor Who series on BBC America. >:( [DH has dropped the telly -- as a waste of time and money. He listens to the wireless. And yes, he calls it "wireless"!]
