UP: But it improved greatly when I got a phone call from the people who interviewed me yesterday, offering me a job at the Roslin Institute starting in January!  ;D ;D ;D

UP: Had a lovely evening with BF, princesslemons, and PL's hubby. Great food, interesting music, and prizes! :)

IA: Stupid tube stations don't have enough escalators, and stairs piss off my (already mad) hips.

IA: I am in the US for another month and have used this as a justification for signing up with Netflix again while I'm here. What is wrong with me?!  :P

UP: OH MY GOD HOW I MISSED NETFLIX!!! So many movies to watch. SOOOOO many movies to watch!  :D

UP: Libby, who is very much DH's cat, came to me for cuddles and scritches and we had a nice long love-fest.

IA: I am now absolutely covered in cat hair. Someone needs a serious brushing.

IA: I was at the till in Lidl and a man got angry at the Polish checkout girl (who has been here for at least as long as we've been in this town, so 5+ years) for some reason. On his way out the door he shouted back, 'And *bleep* off back to your ain country.'   >:(

UP: Immediately the other customers at the tills jumped to her defence, told her to ignore him, not take it to heart, he was ignorant and stupid, and would no doubt have shouted at him too if he hadn't already been outside. I actually couldn't speak, I was moved to tears!

IA. My poor boy will be at the vets till Mon possibly Tuesday I know better safe than sorry. the vet bill is going to be really expensive we don't have pet insurance either cause he couldn't be covered cause he had a preexisting condition.

UP. My In-Laws both offered to help us pay our vet bill which wont be cheap at all we didn't even ask for help they offered. I thought my MIL might offer but was surprised when I heard my FIL offered as well without any prompting. I have such Wonderful In-Laws.  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

UP: In addition to graduating from Navy basic yesterday, my niece of the heart (a friend's daughter I've known and loved since she was born, unless you count impatiently waiting for her to be born then it has been longer ;D ), became engaged today.  [smiley=heart.gif]

IA: All my munchkins are growing up too fast! I never could have any of my own, but have always loved being an aunt, whether they are blood related, through marriage, or nieces and nephews of the heart.

IA: I am cat sitting for some friends and have my car here in Brooklyn. Last night, I had to park in front of a school because there was no where else and the parking rules dictated that I had to move it today by 7 AM. So I had to drag myself out of bed and was dreading circling the neighborhood in search of somewhere to park (since Monday is one of two alternate side days in this neighborhood, I thought I'd have trouble finding somewhere that I could leave it all morning).

UP: I found parking immediately right in front of the house on the correct alternate side parking side of the street!

This is the story of my life if I take off work on a Monday or Tuesday. They do street cleaning in my neighborhood on those days. Annoying, right!? It's funny when you go to move your car and you see all these other zombies walking to their cars to move them too.
