UP: Both the boys came through their teeth cleaning just fine. Yay!

IA: Pup got 5 more teeth taken out! Last year he had 8 out. At this rate he won't have any teeth left.

UP: He inhales his food anyway so he probably won't mind. ;)

Oh that's good, I wouldn't want to do anything that hurt him as I love him up! :)

Awww, this is the one I met at Burghley isn't it? He's the best!

Yep! He gets that reaction almost universally. :) (The one exception seems to be people who are extremely anti-dog/dog-phobic, but he has converted quite a few!)

IA: Got up at 7am to take the car for an oil change. It's first come first serve and as you can imagine Saturdays are crazy.

UP: I only had to wait about 30 minutes and was home again by 9am. Certainly better than spending my whole day there!

UP: All our walking is paying off. I can feel my clothes getting looser and my overall fitness level is rising.

IA: All this being out and about is playing heck with my allergies. Guess it is antihistamine time again.

This is a good/bad customer service IA/UP that only goes to show me I often get one or the other where I'm not expecting it & vice versa!

UP: First rang up my dentist first thing this morn to arrange appointments - no holding, no having to leave a message or ring back (all of which have happened previously) - got straight through to a real live person on the line, appointments booked, sorted!  Yay!

Hey I was on a roll - then rang our bank to cancel a direct debit for a service I cancelled - got straight through (no holding!) to a real live person, direct debit stopped.  Wahey!  I'm really on a roll now...

IA: Went to town to Bravissimo for a bra fitting - I'd not been there in some time as I went to M&S the last time.  I tried to ring ahead & book yesterday but couldn't get a salesperson on the line to schedule it for me (answerphone - leave a mssg, on a Sunday, so I just left it).  A friend met me in town outside the shop & we went in - they didn't look busy at all...  Went downstairs to the fitting area & lobby there - they said they couldn't get me in straight away but that I would be next.

So we made ourselves comfy on the sofas down there & started to chat.  We probably sat there about an hour & finally my friend suggested that I might want to see if they were ever going to get me in for my fitting...  They'd already crossed me off the list!  Only think I can think is that someone turned up & said they were me or something like that!  WTF?!  Booo Bravissimo.  I mean we'd been sitting there for ages so it's not like we were invisible or something - plus I kept looking at the woman & I know she saw me.  Very strange like they thought we were just hanging out, having an extended natter in their lobby for no apparent reason?!  I think next time I'll be back at M&S as their bras are cheaper & service better as last time I got fitted there & didn't even ask for help - they offered because they must want to sell bras more than Bravissimo does!

Oh yeah & I'm trying to get a local spa on the phone so I can schedule a treatment with a Groupon offer that DH gave me awhile back.  I kind of expected this one - they aren't getting back to me.  Groupon has kind of a bad rep at this point with stuff like this - so we'll see what happens.

Well done on the good ones -- too bad about the other  >:(

The dentist one reminds me of my experience with new dentist:

UP: Got in for cleaning, x-rays, etc. all for free as it's first visit -- referred to periodontist in same practice (and he is kinda cute  ;))

IA: The hygienist's space was a tiny cubicle; dentist and hygienist could not be in there at same time. Periodontist's space was a broom cupboard!

IA: Bus towards home terminated before my stop.

UP: Got a transfer ticket and the next bus showed up within minutes.

IA: Realised after boarding that I'd left my backpack (including work computer) on the first bus.

UP: Finally retrieved it, safe and sound!

IA: My whole day was basically wasted between missed appointments, late appointments, and trekking around after this bag.

UP: Yet another gloriously sunny, unseasonably warm day.

IA: The guy next door saw it as a reason to blast crap music so that the whole block had to hear it. I like loud music as much as the next person, but when it forces others to not be able to watch tv or listen to their own music it is annoying. We were out some of the day, but I'm midway through the plague, so I haven't really felt like getting out full force. About three miles of mouth breathing and sneezing was all I felt up to.
