That is adorable!

IA: I have had really bad fatigue since last night.
UP: I actually made the decision to take the day to rest, rather than pushing through and make myself worse. Probably the first time I've done that.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

UP: The guy at the pizza shop gave me two slices for the price of one because he said they were smaller.

IA: They're pepperoni and they're going to give me heartburn (I was well aware when I ordered!). I gave one slice to my colleague because heartburn from the one slice is going to be bad enough!

UP: I got an INTERVIEW! Yay! At a nearby high school, teaching English.
IA: I just realized I know not nearly-enough about the National Curriculum, standard interview practice here (lesson observation, oh my!), may give myself an ulcer before Monday!

Good luck Jennie!
Thank you! I am currently flipping between excitement about tormenting some year 9 students with poetry, and a sense of impending doom if they ask me about Key Stage requirements..... ;)

UP: Sunshine! Real, true sunshine!

IA: The guy next door is one of those who blasts his music as loud as he can so everyone for blocks around has to listen to it, every time it is sunny. It will go on until dark. MIL won't say anything to him about it, because he is 'a great guy and wonderful neighbour', and won't let us ask him to turn it down. We either have to leave home, or sit here not watching tv, listening to music (can't hear either over his), and can't do anything that takes concentration because the pounding takes away any possibility of thinking.

This was yesterday, but...

IA: Had to wake up at 4:30AM to get a train at 6:30 into the city for an interview. That was a bit brutal. To make matters worse, it was absolutely pouring down rain and I was having to run around in interview attire. My feet were soaked and at one point I was ankle deep in NYC puddle water. Nasty!

UP: I had enough foresight to bring spare shoes in my bag! Also think my interview went well. Not sure if I'll get it, but I felt very comfortable and I'm not sure I could have done any better. Normally, I leave thinking "Ugh, I should have said this or said that" but not this time! Even if I don't get it, I was pretty chuffed about that.  :)

UPDATE: I got the internship!!!! Result!  ;D  :D  [smiley=balloon.gif]

Congrats, NOT!  ;D

UP: I've only sent out two job applications recently, one of them speculative, and I've been asked to interview at both places. I have my first interview for one of them Thursday morning and my second interview for the other shortly after. I'm more interested in the one where I've made it to the second interview, so fingers crossed!  :)

IA: I have two job interviews in one morning, and it's going to require getting up pretty early to get a train. Definitely not helping with my already high stress levels! :-\\\\

Awesome news about the job interviews! I suppose a UP of getting up early might be not having to see just how many different  directions you can contort your body at one time during rush hour. I loved the underground when we were in London last month, other than morning and evening rush hour.

Thanks guys! Can't tell you how happy I am! It's the first time I've been offered anything in almost a year and a half! I can't believe I'm going to get to work again!  :D

It's sports' day at school, and it's going to be 80 degrees!  :o

UP: I'm super excited to be out in the sunshine all day! yay!
IA: I'm not sure how I'll do with my heat intolerance. I tend to go quite numb when I'm overheated.
