IA: I am working on a Saturday  >:(

UP: I'm listening to Rock 102 online (Western Mass. Classic Rock Station) cranked up really loud.  Making me feel good!  Rock 102 is what my Dad always has playing in the Garage and it reminds me of long, hot summer days and running around barefoot without a care in the world

IA: Learned today that instead of starting my new job on 23 July, they want me to start on 6 August.  And I've already made arrangements to leave the US by 18 July.

UP: I get a little over 2 weeks to settle into life in London at my own pace and I will still get my first paycheck at the same time I would have if I started earlier, so there really is no difference.

UP: Today was 84, nice breeze and sunny, with very low humidity.

IA: I was stuck inside at work all day. I am off the next two days and it is going to be 101 and humid both days.

UP: This week's pay check will be very fat because it includes the Incentive Bonus plus payout for vacation days not used  :D And will still have one more week's pay to come.

IA:  They have taken out huge amount of withholding (bonuses get taxed at a higher rate) -- hopefully will get some back next year  :-\\\\

IA- I found a brand of non toxic nail polish that I wanted to try but it's pretty pricey. I found an auction on ebay but silly me did not pay attention to the size and bid a bit too much for a mini bottle thinking it was full size. Ended up paying close to retail.

UP- Love love LOVE the colour and quality. And it's toluene, camphor, formaldehyde and DBP (dibutyl phthalate) free! Yay!  :D

UP: Bid on a brand new bike on eBay, and got it for £90+ off retail price. :)

IA: Can't get it until next week.

UP: Maybe it'll be cooler then? Can't picture biking for long in this weather anyway.

UP: Worked from home today and managed to ignore all the things that need to be done around the house and just focus on work.

IA: I'm 'home' with enough time to actually clean up.  :P Normally I get home so late that I don't have time to do much and DH helps me or I just leave it for the weekend.

UP: DH is finally painting the nursery!

IA: I'm am a total control freak when it comes to painting, so I'm trying to busy myself with other things. He's only on the ceiling now. There's no way I'm going to let him cut in the wall color, so I'll be doing that! I can't let it all go!

UP: Got to pick up my new bike last night, and the lady selling it was really nice.

IA: The seat wasn't adjusted (and I had no allen wrench), so had to ride home (3 miles) like a clown with the seat waaaaaaay too low. Very hard on the quads!

UP: Did make it home, and (so far) my legs don't feel too bad.

IA: I've been so bored!!!!!!!! I love being able to be with my BF and stay here for an extended amount of time but I'm running out of things to clean and errands to run :(

UP: Went into town for a walk/browse and got some awesome Topshop sandals for £15 and a few things for £1-2 from River Island  :-X I shouldn't be spending money but loads of stores at the shopping center had awesome sales!

UP: Weather forecast for rain didn't happen this morning, so I was able to try out my bike commute to work.

IA: Got totally lost and ended up going at least a mile out of the way to backtrack.

UP: Still made it, and thanks to flexible hours, no one really cared that I was an hour late getting in.

IA: My bike's chain/gears/something are acting up.

UP: Have an appointment tomorrow at the bike shop anyway, so hopefully they can help fix it up.

I know! That's why I've been avoiding the town centre.  :P

IA:  I found out my new manager doesn't start until a week later than I originally thought.

UP:  At least I'll get an extra week of overtime pay.

IA: We're booked to fly to AZ next month to stay with my best friend and her fiancé before their wedding. Just found out fiancé lost his job so they may be moving to WA before the wedding.

UP: At least the change fee isn't horrendous, and we wouldn't have to buy the other one-way flight within the US to get to the wedding, so the cost wouldn't be much different.

IA: Won't know what's going on for a while, since it depends on whether one/both of them can find jobs in WA.

IA  - I am going to be alone, in a foreign city on my 29th Birthday.
UP - The city is Seattle, I secretly love doing stuff on my own, and doing things I've not done before, so I'm going to go whale watching! http://www.clippervacations.com/whalewatching/packages/sanjuanislandsdaytrip
