IA: Dreading the flight across the pond tomorrow night. Hate worrying I've forgotten something vital, the cramped seating, that mid-Atlantic claustrophobia attack, arriving half asleep and trying to navigate LHR ...  :-\\\\

UP: But back in blighty with DH for a few weeks  :-*

Ta! All I ask for is a boring trip that gets there more or less on time.

UP: The internet guy showed up this morning and NOT at 8 AM but at the way more reasonable 11 AM. So yay, I have internet again.

IA: The router I have isn't cooperating with the modem they gave me. I think it is probably fixable but it's just a little bit too tech-y for me. Or at least for me in my current state. So in order to USE the internet I'm tied to a single spot.

Safe trip, BD -- see you really soon!  :-* :)
Ring the bells that still can ring

There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

IA : Got kicked out Primark for wearing a hoodie. Obviously I look bad ass and dangerous. I was also wearing a floral dress and a jumper with an owl on it.

UP : Sneaked back in and got an AMAZE pleather studded dress and weirdly a playsuit printed with rabbits, which I thought was a dress, but got it home and it fits really nicely, so yeah, now I'm someone who wears playsuits. whodathunk?!

That's just crazy! How could you buy a playsuit?  ;)

Seriously I can't believe they kicked you out. I can understand asking you to remove the hood while inside but to force you to leave? I'm pretty sure I'd have been way to upset to go back any time soon.

I know! They're totally weird and hideous, except I kind of love it!

Also...there may have been a small...altercation, i.e me going "But you sell hoodies!" and him going "Not the point, we don't want gangs of hoodie teenagers in here" and me going "But I'm alone and I'm THIRTY!" etc...after which I was told to take my attitude elsewhere :D

I have no shame when it comes to £5 playsuits. Also I thought it was hilarious.

Ah, yes, an altercation. That would completely happen to me *cough*

IA: My freezer is on the blink. Had melted ice lollies and ice cream and partially defrosted meat.  But only certain shelves seem to be affected  ???

IA: All J would take off my hands for partially defrosted food was one measly pack of sausages

IA: I reckon I may lose up to £100 in food

UP: The one benefit of renting. The landlord can replace the fridge/freezer and I don't have to pay for a new one.

IA: I have to get the landlord into my flat.  (After such a horrible experience in the past with the b*tch of a letting agent, this gives me anxiety and panic attacks)

UP: My yarn for wedding projects arrived! Yay!

UP: I can take a break from making DF's super scratchy wool sweater. ;)

IA: Stupid Royal Mail's £8 processing fee. I don't mind paying import duties, but £8 to hold my package for 2 days so that you can charge me money? Blah.

How annoying! I'm going to CA next week, so if you wanted me to bring something back for you, let me know! (Wedding projects! what are you making?)

Thanks! :) Sent you a PM.

So far I'm making a lace-y cardigan, a shawl, and perhaps a skirt. With two dresses, I'm having to restrain myself from making all sorts of matching garments.
