JennyEye - my DH would agree with you. Ours insist on going outside at bedtime and then ask to come in around 1-3am (usually asking to go out again later, and back in around 5-6, just to be extra annoying).

UP: Our offer on a house got accepted!

IA: Now we have to deal with all the legal bits.

IA. I have had a sore tooth for well over a week now I could barely chew anything cause of it so I have mainly only had soup for lunch & dinner.  ::)  :P

UP. Hopefully cause of that I will have lost some weight it doesn't take much to make me happy lol.  ;)  ;D

IA. If my tooth isn't better soon I will have to go to the dentist they scare the living bejesus out of me is why I haven't been yet not to mention the bill ouch.

UP. I found a remedy on goggle about sore tooth an it said to use a warm used tea bag to relieve pain. surprisingly enough it works really well an my tooth doesn't hurt near as bad as it used to Yeah!! Lets just hope it keeps working so no dentist for me for a while.  ;)  ;D

Shugga, I have a feeling you may have a cavity or an infection--I'm one who is very familiar with teeth troubles.  :(

Warm will help as a temporary measure, but if it's an infection it will get worse and it will hurt much more.  You need to get it x-rayed.

Don't be afraid, believe me getting it treated (antibiotics, filling, etc.) is a relief (and doesn't hurt nearly as bad as you imagine) compared to how bad it will hurt if an infection really sets in.

Shugga, I agree with Andee. You don't want to mess with your teeth! If dentists know you're frightened, they'll work with you to make you feel as comfortable as possible. And if they don't, find another dentist. Plus, the longer you wait, the more things can potentially go wrong and your bill will be even higher.

I have SUCH a fear of dentists, but I think a toothache is worse! You really do need to have that looked at!

UP: Hubby and I are benefiting from the overflow of goodies and food gifts our friend Chris is being given from vendors and area businesses, as the manager of the hotel. He is being given so much, and multiples of things. On top of that, the food vendor has been giving samples even cases of freebies he can write off. Among the other things, we have been given hot sauces, summer sausage and cheese gift packs, chocolate fudge cakes, and bakery cinnamon rolls, and the closer it gets to Christmas, the more we are inheriting.

IA: All we have done lately is eat. I don't have the strongest willpower to begin with, but Halloween through New Year.. forget it. If I see it, I eat it.

UP: Through it all, I have somehow managed to lose 5.5 pounds since Thanksgiving. I have no idea how it is happening, but I think I have found my diet!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

UP: We went to IHOP for the first time today. I think I'm the only American who has never been there! It was pretty tasty. I had bananas foster brioche french toast.

IA: I realized I have an OB appt this afternoon which I had forgotten about. Thankfully I happened to look at my calendar today! It wouldn't be an IA, but that means I'm going to get weighed today...you know...after my delicious breakfast this morning! Ack!

IHOP joy is a good UP.  ;D I love to go in the fall for the pumpkin pancakes. They are heavenly. The carrot cake ones are just as heavenly and good enough to be a dessert.

IA: Moving house. 7th time, in 7 years. Uggh!!!!

UP: No longer living with 5 smelly, loud, drunken boys!!

UP: Always a chance to clean and purge and organise and donate to charity shops.

IA: Having to find new places to put things and have my car full of crap until I figure it out.

I don't envy you, and certainly feel for you. Moving is stressful enough, but a lot in a short time is a bit much. After reading yours, I counted, and ours is somewhat similar, with three very short term ones with my mom or his during all the winding things down for moves and visa waits, plus places we have moved in between. We love this one and plan to stay put a while.

But, hooray for not having to live with smelly, loud, drunken boys! Also hooray for the chance to purge!

I want to go to the local charity shops Tuesday in search of some storage options for the kitchen, but intend to take a couple boxes with me. I'm telling myself if I am driving 'all the way' there (the far one is about 10 blocks away so they are not far away at all) I may as well make it worth the trip.

Oh yeah! Forgot why I came here..  [smiley=dizzy2.gif]

UP: Not completely unexpected, but one of the benefits of you and your spouse both working at a hotel is being able to stay free the night before a big snowfall to make sure you can be at work at 7 am.

IA: Having to worry about the power going out and your featherbaby being cold, or not making it. Also leaving him even longer than just the 8 hours you work. I realize he would only miss the morning visit while we got ready for work, but it is still important since he is still getting to know his family. We could feed extra and he'd be fine for food.

Sunday night we are looking at a low of -13f, and a chance of 'significant snowfall'. Last time we had that wording, it was a foot. Two nights ago, our 3-5 inches was just a dusting, so you never know. Hopefully we can stay home with the little guy.

Oh PB, I feel for ya! I haven't lived in a place for more than a year in 10 years. I know we have similar feelings about moving, and let's just hope that 2014 is the year we both stay put!  :)

UP - I've got a bus pass but found a one-day paper travel card on the way home from work yesterday.  No way to track down it's owner, so I figured I'd mix it up and use it to take the train home.   ;D

IA - Ended up feeling violated on a packed train home standing between a tall guy reading a newspaper and the back of a chair.  I'm small but I was completely squashed for about 20 minutes.

UP - I don't usually talk to random people in London, but a lady standing nearby seemed to appreciate my comment made under my breath - 'My husband doesn't even stand this close to me on the train!'.  Nice to have some sort of positive interaction with someone in London after having my personal space seriously invaded.   ::)

UP - Nice to have a reminder why DH and I take the bus whenever we can and avoid the Tube/trains - especially to & from work.  Also nice to know it didn't cost me anything!
