UP: my coworker may want to rent out my house, saving me the hassle of using a property management company, dealing with strangers living in my house, and finding new tenants

IA: his budget isn't quite what I was hoping to get as rental income, even accounting for the lack of property management fees

IA: I've spent the last five days cleaning every square inch of my house.  I'm exhausted, sore and generally annoyed with the whole process.

UP: It's done and it looks FAB. :D

I accidentally bought adhesive wrapping paper, which is kind of like trying to wrap a Christmas present in Contact paper. I will be more careful next time.

At least the design on the paper is cute!

It's supposed to snow tomorrow and I need a few groceries. My car doesn't like to go anywhere in the snow, but at least the store is close enough for me to walk if I need to and snow isn't usually bad to walk in.

I accidently bought 2nd class stamps. I didn't even notice I just didn't want overly religious holiday stamps for my cards.

Hey, at least I saved some money, ohh and I finished my cards in one sitting. (not related, but I'm happy about it)

I am officially in Leeds for my first week of job training...

UP-  New employer put me in a really nice hotel, paying for breakfast and dinner... I've never been treated this well before...

IA-  I had to say goodbye to my husband AGAIN.  After a year of saying goodbye you would think I'm used to it... I'm not- I'll never get used to it.  I know it's only 5 days this time, instead of like 2 months, but it still sucks, no matter how I slice it.

UP: The Book People dropped off an extra set of Roald Dahl books by mistake!
IA: I'm too honest to keep them.  :P

Awww.... well, I'm glad you are enjoying your new job so far, anyway! But, I know what you mean. I was going to spend the night at a friend's house not too long ago, but couldn't bring myself to spend even one night without sleeping next to my DH after having to be apart for so long in the beginning. It sounds pretty clingy, but I can't help it, man!

Thank goodness someone else knows my pain!!!  :P  Of course us UKY's know what each other goes through....

BTW: your IA/UP about the Roald Dahl books is cute.... its a catch-22 having a conscience.... hahahaha.

IA:  Another dead mouse in the living room (cat's killed two).  HOW are they getting into this first floor flat?!

UP:  The guy downstairs has been lifted!  And because he was out on remand, he won't be released.  Let's hope they don't move another thug in here, but they probably will.

IA: I had to call UKBA this morning  >:(

UP: was only on hold 10 minutes (which in my experience is not a long wait) and the agent I spoke with was lovely and able to answer my questions with no problem (not something I've come to expect from UKBA). The call only took me about 15 minutes total!  :o

IA: Tesco freaken mobile. Triple points, free time etc. Yea only if you jump through hoops.

UP: Have had 3 different calls from Tesco this morning. Amazing how a letter can evoke a response.
