UP: DH bought me some posh bath smellies from L'Occitane for Christmas.

IA: They're lavender and they stink.

UP: It's not a very strong scent and I can cover it up with perfume.

Oooooh, I love l'Occitane lavender stuff!!!!

UP:  A late Christmas present from a friend in the US arrived today.
IA:  The jiffy bag had been torn open (either on purpose or accidentally), taped up again and arrived containing a stamp catalogue. Which, I can assure you, is not what my friend sent.

I feel worse for my friend. She spent $17 on postage, and I haven't spoken to her yet but the value on the customs form says $25. That's a lot of money to throw away.  :(

UP: Really enjoyed my exercise class Tuesday so I am going back today and have signed up for more.

IA: The lady who registered me was pushy in a very nice way and somehow I am signed up until end of May.  Which is 2x a week for 18 weeks and very expensive.  Sigh.

UP: I upgraded to first class for my flight tomorrow.

IA: They cancelled 500 flights at O'Hare so who knows if I will even get a flight tomorrow. Plus I just realized I should have saved that upgrade for my trip in March.

DS is planning on moving to NYC at least temporarily  :D
This is good except now he is my only chick so I will worry, especially as he has no job prospects. Also I will lose my resident handyman/IT specialist/chauffeur!!   :-\\\\

IA: I can't find my driver's license and I have to fly today.

UP: I figured it out before I started the 55-mile trip to the airport and I have enough time to go home and get my passport before I leave.

UP:  DH is having a great time in sunny San Diego...

IA:  ...while I am stuck here in snowy New Haven and am going to snowy and freezing cold Chicago.

Yep, that would make me cranky.

He even has a gorgeous hotel room overlooking the water.   >:(  At least he has the sense not to rub it in too much.
