IA: We had intermittent thunderstorms all weekend, some quite severe

UP: The tornado alert did not pan out, thank goodness (yes, tornado alert for Massachusetts on two days running!)

Hope the visit is more positive than negative for you. Sending good luck vibes.  :)

Thanks MLG!   I'll get through I'm sure.
UP-I found a full time job that I am qualified for and that sounds interesting.  And it has NOTHING to do with serving up school dinners (which is what I currently do).
IA-Have no clue what I would do about the girls-even though they are in school I would need child care.

That is an inconveniently annoying kind of UP isn't it?  :-\\\\ Good luck with the job/childcare search.

UP: Some guy was really flirting with me at the Co-Op last night which hasn't happened in a while.  :D

IA: He was kind of a scary looking bloke, even if he was being very complimentary.  :P

UP: Mr MLG has agreed to use his last day before returning to work from his man holiday next week to help me do some serious cleaning!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

IA: Hope I can live with the filth 'til then, but don't have the time to deal with it.  :(

This is just a mixed one: I ordered a copy of The Handmaid's Tale from Green Metropolis and didn't realise the comments said it was heavily annotated in places, so when I opened it and saw all sorts of notes in the margins, I was a bit miffed, as that will be somewhat distracting. However, the notes do look fairly interesting as the person was obviously in some sort of feminist group when they used this book, so reading their notes might actually be kind of a bonus in thinking about the book after reading it, though I will try not to really read them until after I've read all the text, then I could flip back through and look in the margins. You could use your sore wrist and shoulder as an excuse.  ;)

IA: I won't have a proper day off until Sunday, and I won't be bothered to go out shopping and doing errands.

UP: Have made up a list for DH, who has Fridays off. It'll be fun to see what happens after work on Friday afternoon. Will he get exactly what's on my list? Will he stray from it? This should prove interesting. ;D

IA: I stripped the bed before confirming that the other duvet cover was clean. Nope, it was in the back up laundry bin.

UP: I washed and hung it up in the bedroom with the dehumidifier and 7 hours later it's dry! I thought for sure it would take at least 24!
