UP- Wow, this consultant had to have been the nicest doctor ever- was lovely and nice and explained things and did a work up and went through everything :)

I am glad for that, for you.  Hoping the results aren't as bad as you fear - but in some ways, having a proper diagnosis is better than not knowing maybe, because then you know what you're dealing with?  I say that because my own mom went 10 years without a diagnosis for what was a horrible, humiliating & debilitating condition for her, and that was just brutal & so unfair.

Thanks my dear.  :-* Its true, at this point, a proper diagnosis would be good- because like you say, I can deal with it and I can get the necessary support and it won't leave me in limbo going from one consultant to another.  So for that it will be great!

IA- The results are looking quite scary - Not something I suspected. But more tests are being done to confirm.   :-\\\\

UP- Ok, so that this proves that I'm not crazy, its not all in my head, and its nothing to do with me "just being fat"

IA- I've got to wait a while until the results are back  :-\\\\

I'm glad you had a super nice doctor & finally will get some answers. ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] I know all about knowing that when something is wrong with you but no will believe you that's very frustrating. when we finally got someone to listen to me an got a diagnosis to me & Dh that was half the battle right there knowing what we were dealing with an how to deal with it/treat it. I hope the news isn't as bad as you think it will be!!  :) [smiley=clover2.gif]

IA. My Sky+ box didn't record the episode of the Biggest Loser season 8 episode 1 I was very annoyed.  >:(  [smiley=shout.gif]

UP. Dh found on the Sky player the Biggest Loser show I missed when my Sky+ didn't recorded it so I can watch it while he is watching the football game this afternoon yeah!!  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

UP: I made yummy Indian food, doubled the recipe, and should have lots of leftovers.

IA: Not as many leftovers as I could have, though, since when I was wrapping things up to put them in the fridge, I dropped a bowl full of it and it spilled all over the floor. :(

IA:  We went for a short ramble yesterday.  For whatever reason, whenever I exercise - I always sleep like rubbish afterwards.  I know it's supposed to be the opposite way around, but never seems to be for me.  :(  Then - around 6-am-ish, just when I thought I might finally be getting some better sleep, some idiot (road works?  a builder?) started making a horrible racket outside on the street, like tossing metal piping or planks or something off a truck.  >:(  FFS, it's not even 7 am yet?!  Then they were all done & it was all quiet, by the time we were finally getting up.

UP:  For having such a rubbish night of sleep, I've been surprisingly energetic this morning & already have some chores done.  Need to hop in the shower though, because I'm getting tired of smelling like the smoke from last night's BBQ.  :P

UP: Despite a 'cheat' day on Saturday I managed to not gain any weight back and actually lost 6 lbs last week.

IA: I've stuck to my diet like glue the past 2 days and not lost an ounce  >:(

UP: Got some feedback from my supervisor about the stuff I've written for my dissertation so far.  It would appear that I am going in the right direction and things are basically good!

IA: There is still sooooooooo much to be done and I have 15 days to do it.  Feels like I've only scratched the surface. :-\\\\

Sorry to hear your still sick Mrs MLG.  :(  Amen to that PB!!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  I went through 2 or 3 different dietitians before I got one who actually listens to me, she is very easy to talk to, & she is very supportive & encouraging as well!!   ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  I also went through 3 or 4 doctors before anyone would listen to me when I knew there was something wrong with me before I knew I had PCOS!!  ::)  :P
