I don't know how they can explain George's transformation into a jerk.
Spoiler: show
And was it just to justify a redemption plot?
Blah blah blah, I am glad it's back on and aired with Heroes.  Along with Survivors coming back this week, I am sort of in TV show bliss this week.

Yeah, I don't know - I wasn't impressed with this first episode.  Hoping it gets better!

Watched it on iPlayer last night and thought similar things.  This episode was rather dark in comparison to the other ones (well they're all a little dark, but it missing some of that quirky humor I love in the show) -
Spoiler: show
hopefully now that they've dealt with Nina's 'transformation' it will resume most of its normal tone?

Possibly might lose an element as a lot of series 1 was the humor of George trying to get the girl.  Now that he's got her, that's lost and the writers have to find something else to pour their wit out onto.

I talked to my friend yesterday.  He said the tone of the show is somewhat depressing for the first three episodes and then returns to the more humorous side of things.  They had some concerns about how this would come across, but they need it to build the story so please hang in there!

Also, season three starts filming early this year.  So yeah, season 3.

The second episode was a lot better than the first.  Poor Annie. :(

Hey!  Well the new series (Series 3) is supposed to be starting up in the new year.

But as part of the run-up to it, they are going to rerun Series 1 and Series 2, starting at 12:30 am Halloween night (technically Nov 1 by then).

Not sure if we're going to stay up that late to watch it, but I'd imagine they'll surely be on I-Player for a bit after each episode airs this time around.

So, if you missed some or all of it the first time around, now's your chance!

Oh, I should have mentioned that the older hamster went to the great film set in the sky during the filming of season three.  But her daughter lives on.   :)

Here in the states, they're doing an American version of Being Human that starts in January on syfy channel.  Not sure how I feel about it, I really like the original UK version.  From what I've read, they are changing the characters and plotlines around a bit.
