Yay!
« on: July 13, 2004, 08:38:43 PM »
Well it took 12 working days but my student visa arrived via Fed Ex about 10 minutes ago.  I am so happy it's finally here.  Of course, all my friends and family are glad too because they're tired of listening to me fret.  SO happy it's all over and done with.   I have entry clearance until Dec. 05.   ;D ;D ;D ;D
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Thanks  ;D  I don't think I've had time for it all to sink in yet.  I'm still on a cloud!

Yeah, I admit I've spent some time just looking at it.  Of course, that was after a flurry of phone calls to all involved parties.   :D  I know I'm a dork for being excited about something that wasn't ever really questioned.  It's just a relief to have it in my hand!
