I see lots of familiar "faces"...
« on: July 14, 2004, 04:01:28 PM »
Hello!  Heard about this site from a friend on another expat site so I thought I'd come check it out.  Nice to see a lot of familiar names while browsing some of the threads, too.  *wave* [smiley=daisy.gif]

A brief introduction: I'm Tracy, married to a brit and living in Surrey for 6 years.  We have one little boy, Joshua, who is 21 months old and I adore his developing part-English part-American accent.  I'm originally from Omaha and would love to move back one day, but need to persuade hubs on that one.  As my username implies, I am an addicted scrapbooker, although the little guy doesn't give me a whole lot of time to myself to do it.  If only he would nap a little longer...  :)  Anyway, that's me!

Hi Scrappit!  I dont live in Surrey, but will be moving to Hampshire in less than 3 months. Good to hear you like scrapbooking.  As a consultant for Creative Memories I find it rare to meet someone who genuinely likes it.  Too many bad experiences of, "Oh >:( that is so boring" lol :) Welcome to UKY

Glad to see that you have found it! :) Happy to see you here! :-* I'm sure we can find the time to devide our attention between the two sites. Time, what's that? Anyway, I'm sure we'll chat soon.

Your expat twin. :P

Scrappit, sorry, I dont mean to hijack your post, but I pm'ed you back! ;)

And Caitlinn, I don't live there yet, but I plan to sell CM when I move there.  I'm not sure how that works, so I will have to ask my unit leader.  I dont think I will be able to until after I recieve my spousal visa, right?  Cause isn't that working?  Oh, I really need to find out :-\\\\  One of the reasons I actually started doing CM was because I can take it to the UK and it's a way to get out and be more social, make some friends when I move there :) lol, otherwise I think I'd just sit at home and be scared to go out by myself.
