I put the pellets down on the outside of the door that leads into my room from the garden.  (Apparently we used to have a huge problem with them in the kitchen, so we had a load of the pellets underneath the sink).

I don't think I saw any new trails in my room this morning, but we'll see when I get home.

You'll want to find yourself something like a popsicle stick to flip their dessicated corpses out the back door.

Yes, even in death, slugs are a disgusting pain in the tail to deal with.

...but it doesn't take many mornings of finding your shoes ribboned with slime before any notion of humanity toward slugs flies right out the window.

It only took one morning of stepping on one in my bare feet as I walked downstairs!  [smiley=puke.gif]

I hate 'em but Steve is really freaked out by them, so I am the household slug slayer and I show no mercy.  If they are getting in your house, there is a gap somewhere probably around the doorframe - at least that's what we found.  I was finding faaarrrrr too many slug trails indoors, and little slugs crawling around inside the front entryway so Steve did a very thorough inspection all around the front door, found a little gap (big enough for little slugs), and we just kind of improvised by glueing a piece of sponge to close off that hole.

They've eaten all of the mint from our herb garden & the last time we planted it - after it had all been eaten, I found two of them all curled up and cozy together right at the base of the stripped mint stalks.  [smiley=bomb.gif]
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

They had stripped my basil and started in on the mint when I started setting the Slug X trap - now everything is flourishing. I swear, I'd do testimonials for the stupid thing if they asked - it really, really works!
