Credit Scoring In The UK
« on: August 14, 2009, 08:42:06 AM »
Hi all,

quick question: Once a US Citizen moves to the uk, what would be the likelihood of him/her obtaining credit?

I mean, does the US credit scoring follow the person to the UK?
Would the USC need to 'exist' in the UK for a while before being able to obtain credit?

We have tried looking into this elsewhere with no joy but can only find conflicting information.

Thanks in advance...as always!! ;D

US credit scoring does not follow you to the UK.

Here's a recent thread regarding obtaining credit in the UK: http://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?topic=54880.0.
