Welcome to UKY. :)  I am not in your area, currently in W. Yorkshire, but I am from California, Northern.

I moved here from Merced, its about 45 minutes north of Fresno on 99.  :)

I will be getting married in October. My Fiance' lives in Crewe I will be flying over August 20th with my 14 year old daughter. I have visited twice and love it.

Firstly, welcome!

Now, Middlewich eh? Takes me back. I'm from Congleton, but moved to Cannock (Staffordshire) 4 years ago. Still got friends who live in the area: a few in Congleton, couple in Holmes Chapel, one in Macclesfield. Nice area, and definitely a good place to pick to live. If you ever need to know somegood places to eat, drink and be merry, let me know. I lived in the area for 20 years, and was eligible to drink for 8 of those!  :)

It still suprises me that there are so many of us Americans here. And so many from the same area. Since I moved over in Feb I have only spoke to one other American... my sister when she came to visit. We went into Liverpool and thought I was funny when my ears perked up to a tourist with an American accent. She just wanted British accents.  I dont really hear the British accent anymore, especially my husbands.
