Joe is Glee.

What?

Lloyd and the twins are my bottom two this week. Yet, I think the twins will stay around for yet another show. I wish they would stop putting on the big productions and just force them to come out and sing without all the dancing so it's more obvious how lame they really are.  ::)

Danyl really blew it IMO, he was way off key in the first half of the song, but it was weird seeing him so subdued usually he's way OTT. Rachel was a big surprise, she did quite well. Have you noticed that Stacy hasn't done an upbeat song yet, they've all been slow songs?

I agree with the twins, they suck! Unfortunately, I think my hubby may be right when he says that the public will vote them to win just to stick it to Simon Cowell.

Have you ever seen Glee? That's where Joe belongs. He has a good voice, but he's so stagey. Plus, that song? They just did it on Glee!

ETA: This is what I mean.

Totally agree about Danyl. Aside from the Hell Twins, who are by far the worst, I thought the weakest two were Danyl and Stacey. And Danyl's sucking had nothing to do with him being either cocky or unconfident (make up your minds, judges!) - but just to do with the fact that he was painfully off-key.

My favourites are still Jamie and Rachel. Love them.

I agree with the twins, they suck! Unfortunately, I think my hubby may be right when he says that the public will vote them to win just to stick it to Simon Cowell.

Louis keeps saying that it's about the performance and the fact that the public like them, but this is the wrong competition for them and it wouldn't be fair for them to win over someone else who could potentially make a serious singing career for themselves from the show (like Leona). If they want to win based on popularity and entertainment value, they should be on Britain's Got Talent instead.

My parents keep saying that it's the John Sargent factor (Strictly), but the thing is that it wouldn't have mattered all that much if John Sargent had won Strictly last year because everyone in the competition was already a celebrity and already had a career... but for the X Factor hopefuls, this is their big chance to make it and John and Edward could ruin that chance for them.... I mean, if they win, what exactly are they gonna do afterwards? They can't sing, they forget the words on stage, they can't learn choreography and they can't even dance/sing in time with each other!

I agree...I practically pee myself each time I see them from laughing so hard.  :P

Exactly!  If they won, people would forget about them in a week, and what self-respecting label would make a record with them?  Enough, already, the novelty is O-V-E-R!

I think your parents may be right. And, even though it's not exactly the same situation as with John Sargent, I think the result will be the same. The voting public will eventually give up and the twins will be out.

No X Factor contestant is signed to a self respecting label ... they're all on Simon Cowell's label ...

I thought that was just the winner's dubious honour. Is that wrong? I thought the others were free agents.

They might be but I was meaning no other self respecting label would want most of them.

I wish Lloyd would've gone. He's cute, but I don't think he can sing!  :-X Rachel wasn't my favourite, but she has a much better voice than Lloyd. Too bad Jedward is in for another week.  :\\\'( When will it stop?! I bet they do go to the final. I sure hope they don't win!  :-X

The interesting thing is that my husband seems to think that JedWard should win  :o. I really wasn't happy last night about Rachel going and with Lloyds voice going will he be able to perform this week? Or will they give him a bye week just like they did to Diana last year?

It was just a completely irritating end to a completely irritating day. >:(

Yay, my first time weighing in on X-Factor!

I'll say Danyl is my favorite.  He has a wonderful voice (and besides this week) has amazing stage presence.  I think this week his performance definitely lacked however.  The beginning on the song was a total mess and he just stood there, doing nothing.  I can see how the pressure is getting to him, of being in the bottom 2 and the tabloid stuff, however that's part of being an entertainer.  People will say bad things about you, and you're not always going to be at the top.  So he needs to get over it and keep rocking.

JedWard/Terrance and Phillip/Hell Twins are ridiculous.  I seriously can't stand them.  The only thing they are good for is a laugh.  And I'm really confused as to who is voting for them...must be Weby J's husband. haha.

I was really upset to see Rachel go this week. She was my favorite girl in the competition by far.   What Simon did was a total cop out this week.  He should've sent the pretty boy home.

Ok, I'm done ranting now.   :P

Agree about Danyl. I love him, and lots of other people do, too. He was probably only on the bottom because people thought he was "safe" so they voted for someone else they liked. He shouldn't let it all get to him so much. He's probably the most gifted singer in the competition.

LOL... Terrence and Philip!!!!! Bwahahahaha!!!! I think people vote them in just to f*** with Simon.  :P

I wish Simon would've sent Lloyd home, too, as I think he sucks, but at the same time, Rachel was in the bottom 2 three times, and I think they have to listen to the public, don't they?

Very true... but at the same time the public keeps voting for Terrence and Phillip ( ;D ) ...

As Simon himself has said, it is a singing competition.  Therefore shouldn't the ones that can actually sing be saved?

Lloyd reminds me of Jason Castro on American Idol a couple seasons ago. Pretty boy that is a mediocre singer.
