Didn't like Rachel. Don't like Danyl.

So what did people think?

Here are my thoughts (whether you want them or not!):

Stacey - I've lost the Stacey love. I don't think her vocals are good enough.
Olly - He's OK, but Louis was right; it was a silly song choice.
Lloyd - He won't go much further. I still like him, though and thought he did a fab job with Stand By Me.
Jamie - Great.
Lucie - Great.
Danyl - Bleh. I hate it when people sing sitting down on the floor. But he was way better than last week.
Jedward - I really think this is the week they go. I really do.
Joe - Stagey and bland. But he'll do well because people seem to like stagey and bland.

My bottom two prediction: Lloyd and Jedward. Jedward to go. (Fingers crossed)

I pretty much agree with everything you said, Chary. Though, I do still like Joe. I think they should give him some younger, hipper songs, though, then he might not come across so stagey. Something like what Lucie sang this week that reminds people he is a teenager. Either that, or kill the production bits and just let him sing a big ballad or something.

I still like Danyl. They should give him a more upbeat song, I think. And I never thought he was cocky, I thought he was doing great in the beginning of the competition, but he's losing his edge by trying too hard to be humble.

I liked Lucie, Jamie, and Danyl the best. Stacey had potential with that song, but she didn't focus on the vocals enough. I actually thought Jedward was hilarious - I loved their intro in the car, I thought I would die laughing! I wouldn't keep them in the competition, but I think they will be around another week. I think people are keeping them in just to piss everyone off, which is kind of funny, in a way. I don't think they will make it to the final because eventually people will start voting for whoever they want to win.

I agree with your choices for bottom 2, but it's kind of a wild card at this point. I hope Lloyd or the twins go. I wouldn't be sad if Olly went at this point, either. I think Olly is kind of boring, and Lloyd just can't sing. He's so flat, he has such a limited vocal range.

Just wanted to jump in and give Olly some love, haven't seen too much said about him here.  I'd like to think he'll win, but I don't see it happening the ones I like rarely do.  He's my winner though, the only one who I'd go buy the album of right now.  Had high hopes for Miss Frank, I think they could have done better with a different mentor.

Glad Rachel's gone, she didn't offer anything new or unique, from her style to her singing.

I liked Lucie from the beginning but not liking all the song choices for her.  I think her voice is wasted on pop songs.  In the studio they'd manipulate it to sound good, but live, just doesn't work.  When they give her a vocally powerful song, she does great!

Danyl is good most of the time but his behavior the other week really turned me off, it felt like he didn't even try, does he really want/deserve to be there?

Jamie doesn't really offer much, kind of like Rachel, it's already been done.

Lloyd,Joe and Stacey I don't really pay attention to, they've never impressed me.  Don't get me wrong, they have good voices, just not entertaining.

Last and least, John and Edward... I think they'll keep them around as long as they can to keep the ratings and the press up.  I didn't want to see them ever again after their audition.

I'm picking Lucie, Joe & Danyl for the final. I can honestly say I don't have a favourite. I wouldn't buy a record by any of them. Lucie or Joe will most likely win because they're the two with the  most star quality (so far).

Ooooh! We're already making our final picks?!?! Is it a final three or a final two? I don't even remember. If it's three, I say Jamie, Lucie and Joe. If it's two, I say Jamie and Joe. (This does not mean I like Joe. I do not like Joe. I just think the public would probably vote for him.)

Simon Cowell is a jackass!

A complete jackass.

That was wrong in every way. It was two talentless little twits versus a girl who can actually sing. And he could have made it right.

Jackass.

I find the twins really entertaining, I stopped watching a few weeks ago after completely losing interest, but I do really enjoy the twins campy eurovision-esque performances.

If you take the performances out of their context, imo they are all pretty poor. I'm probably in the minority, but I don't find anyone (except the twins) particularly likeable and entertaining.

I was soooo mad when Simon had it go down to public vote.  He keeps saying this is a singing competition..... what a hypocrite to send the one that can sing home....

However, the twins are hilarious to watch.  Totally makes me laugh.... if some of them that can't sing/perform like Lloyd and Stacey go home and the twins stay in that's fine by me because it's funny!  But no more sending home the ones that actually have talent.

My hubby thinks that Simon did vote that way because he figures that secures his 3 a better spot by sending one home with talent- ie, less competition for his group.

That's just my 2p.  My prediction for the final is it will be all guys..... probably Olly, Joe, and Danyl.

Simon is talking rubbish when he says it's a songing competition. It isn't, never has been. It's a "who has the best potential to make money for Simon?" competition!

They might as well change the format to it being all down to the public vote because every freaking week it goes to deadlock because they are all too chicken to vote anyone off themselves.
