If that's the case, then it is unfortunate, and I wouldn't agree with that sort of behaviour. (It is also surprising to me that she would say racist things considering who she married.)

In January 2003, Cheryl was arrested and charged with 'racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm'. In October 2003, she was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but the racially aggravated part of the charge was dropped. She was sentenced to 120 hours of community service and had to pay £500 to the victim, plus £6,000 in prosecution costs.

Yikes. I thought they were all dreadful tonight, without exception. The only 'interesting' things were Danyl and Joe's newly shaped eyebrows.  :-X

LOL! No, I'm not a fan of most accents, that's true. But my opinion of Cheryl stems more from her past life getting into brawls and hurling racist insults at people.  :-\\\\

I'm not a huge Cheryl fan but to be fair the whole racist thing was dropped and proven not to be true.  She did punch the woman but didn't call her racist names.  It all happened in our town!  Classy.

Yeah but she still hit someone in a drunken brawl.  It's just since she got veneers on her teeth and hair extensions, the media's decided to be nice to her.  ;D

Anyway I'm getting thoroughly fed up with this year's lot. They're too boring. I think they neeed to get some different themse too - Mariah Carey week, Frank Sinatra week (or whatever it;s called), etc it's so BORING. I'd like a punk/goth week and a singer-songwriter week. But it will never happen.

Whewhew! I like your idea of a punk week! That would be so thoroughly awesome!
I admit, it was a bit dull, though I did like Stacey and Joe. I like Danyl, but actually thought he was kinda crap this week. Did no one notice that he missed several notes? I think Jamie is getting kind of boring. Jedward... what can I say? Maybe the most interesting of the lot. They are kind of surreal. Didn't like the Vanilla Ice thing they did, though. Olly is boring, too. I mean, I like the silly dancing, but his voice isn't terribly interesting. Lloyd just sucks, though he was better last night than in previous weeks. I wonder who will go tonight? I bet one of Simon's acts might be in the bottom 2, if not leaving this week, possibly Jamie.

I think the bottom two will be Jedward and either Lloyd or Danyl. And, once again, I predict Jedward to go. But I was wrong last week and wouldn't be at all surprised to be wrong again tonight.  :-\\\\

Couldn't agree more!!

I thought Danyl was pretty good but I don't think "the public" like him.... I don't think Jedward will go out quite yet. I'm thinking it might be Jamie actually.....

I don't think "the public" like him....

Yeah, I know this member of the public doesn't really like him, but it's hard to actually pinpoint why. I hate all the Aguilera-ish warbling he does, but realistically he's probably one of the better singers left if he could just rein that in. There's just something about him that rubs me up the wrong way.

I hope Jamie stays! He was awful this week, but I thought they all were - so hopefully that levels the playing field a bit!

Bring on punk week!  ;D

I really hate Louis. It was so obvious before they even sang who he was going to vote off. Not that I think Jamie could have won. But he was better than Lloyd.

Same here. Not sure exactly what it is, but I really don't like Danyl.

Truthfully, I don't think any of them really have the X-Factor this year. Some are decent singers but none really stand out as being great. Every time they say that the talent is better and the competition is harder this year, I just shake my head. I've seen more talent at a local fair.

Wow. I feel as I must be completely out of touch with what is and isn't good, but I was sure Jamie was the winner. From the very beginning. He's the only one of the lot with any... I don't know ... x-factor? I look at Joe, whom people seem to love, and I just don't get it. He's so white-bread and Broadway and dull and bland. Would people really buy his music?!? Really? Because I'd probably go out of my way to avoid it.

Is there something wrong with me??

I only liked Jamie and Lucie, so I'm not sure I'll tune in next week. Yeah, I probably will, but I don't care anymore.  :\\\'(

Oh, I'm all for punk week!!! Better yet, since it is a UK show, how about CLASH week!!!!!! (sorry, I'm a Strummer lover!!!)

I want Lloyd to go.... so much.... he's mediocre at best (like Saturday night).   And I have to say Stacey's performance this week was one of her best yet.  However, they just need to not interview her afterwards.... she needs to lose to goofy grin and the head bob thing that she does.

Anyways, I'm still a Danyl fan, tried and true....  None of the performances really blew my socks off.  However, Olly is fun to watch and Jedward is just comedic relief.  Like I said before, I'll handle them for a couple more weeks while some of the others (ahem, Lloyd, ahem) go.

Anyone hear that Jedward was approached by Disney???

I like Jamie but I just don't feel like he could have ever won. I don't think he's the type the public usually vote for. It's just like with Chris Daughtry from American Idol several seasons ago...I liked him a lot but he's just not the AI winner "type" so didn't stand a chance. He's gone on to sell millions and do better than a lot of the actual winners of AI though. I have a lot of his songs on my Zune.

Out of all of the contestants this year, I liked Lucie the best and she's gone. So now both Jamie and Lucie are gone because of Simon and Louis' stupidity. I guess the only one left that I like is Stacey.

Just saw this after missing it for 3 weeks...I was so incredibly bored that I actually thought my eyes would bleed, not to mention my ears which is obvious.

I haven't bothered to watch it in weeks.
