Bless you all & thank you very much... ;D

I knew when I decided to have the bypass almost 3 yrs ago it would be life changing and it has been. My quality of life and my mental quality has grown and increased 110%. I didn't realise what an unhappy person I was and how it had effected my family.
Not to mention my health. I do have health issues now but only with low blood counts.

I go back to the consultant plastic surgeon on 20/11 for him to see how I have healed and to start the next phase.

(ps I had this done on the NHS as well....and the care was top notch!)

Just to clarify as well...THE only reason I was able to get my tummy tuck done on the NHS was a car wreck we had back in 1998. Was told then if I lost 6 st they would repair the damage the seatbelt did to my stomach and also my right breast. Since I lost way more than what I was told it then changed the critera and I had to get my BMI down to 26. I will now be able to get the damage corrected on my chest.  :)

I'm curious...why did they change the criteria just because you'd lost more than 6 stone?

Not sure Geeta..I think maybe the TT became more of an intense precedure than what he had planned 10yrs ago??

I ended up in surgery 2 hours longer than what they planned

Oh no, 2 hours longer is a lot.  Thank goodness you're all recovered now!
