Where to get advice on US student loans
« on: August 23, 2009, 06:36:05 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get professional advice on dealing with US student loans, hopefully from someone based in the UK?

What do you mean by "dealing with" them?

If you just mean obtaining them, I'd recommend talking to the student loan advisor at your university. It's not that complicated, so they can point you in the right direction very quickly.

I looked at your recent posts and I'm guessing that you're paying back your loans.  US student loans are pretty simple.  I don't really see the need to pay a professional for advice about them, unless its about a UK tax issue.  You should be able to get an answer here, or at another message board where student loans are a little more topical.  There are several people here paying back their student loans, myself included.
