Hey! (or should I say 'hej' - sorry, dumb Swedish joke  :-[) Jewlz and I already have a fight date set over him!  :P

Mr MLG has the first two episodes ready but 'wants to wait'  :o :o :o I say it's jealousy!  :P

So it may be a long time before I am caught up to you all.  :P

Watch out so you don't spoil yourself reading this thread!  :o

I'd need Mr MLG's help just to translate that.  :-[ :P But thank you!  :)

For those who have read the books, are you disappointed in the way they cast Claudine? I mean, in the books, she is six feet tall and drop dead gorgeous with long straight black hair. And I didn't picture an English accent, either. Hmm. Also thought the whole fairy scene was a bit cheesy with all the dancing and everything.  :-\\\\ And I think Sookie is so much smarter in the book. I guess with the whole V addict thing played up in the television series, it makes sense to change certain things (and I admit it's one of the more interesting aspects of these vampires -- that their blood is addictive and has special properties for humans -- and I think the author could have done much more with that in the books). Still... I find myself alternately pleased and disappointed with this season so far. Overall, I'm definitely enjoying it, but I love the books and the television series is so different that it's hard to be totally on board sometimes, even though I really like Lafayette and Jessica, and more of Jason, Tara and Hoyt than in the books.  :)

Spoiler: show
According to the books she is a fairy breed....Grandma cheated on grandpa back in the day with a fairy lol
In case you didnt want to know ;-) I hide it
Kevin finds this all fascinating but wants to know why Jason doesn't have it....Books can be so different.

Jewlz - yea Claudine should have been casted as a BEAUTY but who knows if they will use her they way they did in the books

Soooo, I just watched this interview on You Tube with Alexander Skarsgard and they asked him how he felt about nudity on the show and he said, "What? Are you kidding? I'm Scandinavian, I love to be naked." *swoon*  :P

Awesome.  The gay sex scene last night was so yummy...well, aside from the staking part.

Ok this latest episode was AWESOME. Bonus points for feeling like an extra-long two hour special or something even though it was the normal length.

And I really liked this i09 rundown of the episode. It reminded me of the Washington Post's Lost rundowns. :)
Summer 97 - first visited friends in London
99-00 - studied at Uni of Sussex on exchange
Feb 02 - moved to London on BUNAC
Sep 02 - WP granted (IT skills shortage list)
Sep 04 - WP renewed
Sep 06 - WP renewed again (screwed by 4-5 year ILR change)
Sep 07 - ILR!
March 09 - Citizenship!
July 09 - bone marrow transplant :(
18 Sep 10 - wedding!
Mar 12 - half marathon in Paris! 1:47:12!
Oct 12 - Amsterdam FULL marathon! 3:48:23!

Sp - that is too funny!
My favorite line was:
Pro: Bill and Jessica made up, and now talk like teenagers. Bless you two for the "No Way." "Way." Back and forth. And good for Bill finally being a better vampire daddy.

Jessica is becoming a fun person to watch ;-)
