Do you need biometrics done more than once?
« on: September 11, 2009, 03:31:11 AM »
Hello all;

I applied for a UK visitor's visa in May and long story short, it was denied. Essentially, I asked to come over for five months to live with my boyfriend on a limited budget after already having been denied entry for not having a return ticket, so it's not surprising that they said no.

Now, I'm attempting to come back for two weeks in December in the hopes of spending Christmas with my now-fiance and his family. Having done the biometrics appointment when I sent my first application, do I need to make another for a second application? Is the process any different the second time around?

Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

You must do biometrics for EACH application. It's basically to verify identity. Anyone could fill out the online application, claim they were you but they would have problems when they show up for biometrics and they don't match.

Sorry no way out of it I'm afraid.
