OMG, I never liked Anton du Beke much (too smarmy) but he is even worse than I thought:

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/strictlycomedancing/a180468/bbc-urged-to-sack-du-beke-over-race-jibe.html

I wonder if they will sack him and if so what will happen to Laila? Will she get a new partner?

How dissapointing! I love Anton. I think his smarminess is what I like most about him. Dissapointed that he could be so stupid, though. Sounds like they'll keep him, however, because he apologised. But we'll see.

If he is sacked then they'll probably give Laila to Matt C.

Oh, dear. I've always liked Anton ... and, yes, I think his smarminess is definitely part of the appeal!

If they sack him, I wonder if he'll also get sacked from 'Hole in the Wall'? Didn't he just start presenting that? Or perhaps is about to start?

New season starts soon but he did host it last season too.

I wonder how Erin Boag would react as she's his dance partner for competitions.

I was looking forward to a no Bruce night!  ANd then the stupid BBC has to go and spoil it by making us watch a Ronnie instead!  Why must they roll out the old men?  And why did we still have to suffer idiotic Bruce jokes?  The two women were perfectly capable of presenting it without some old fart.  It just annoyed me.

Plus, I'm a Phil fan and while I feel sorry for Laila I was never a huge fan anyway.

I thought it was great  with Tess & Claudia presenting together, a lot of fun. But yes of course they had to wheel out another not very funny old man. Ronnie Corbett has always been so cringe inducing, I just don't get him at all.

Anyone still watching?

As much as I love Chris and Ola (they are my favourite pair) I don't think Chris is skilled enough to get to the finals.

I can't guess who is going to win between Ali and Ricky. Both are good but I think I'd want Ali to win over Ricky.

I'm not a huge Ali fan.  I actually think they overmark her. At the moment I like Chris and Ola but a lot of that is because I love Ola.  I want to like Ricky and Natalie but for some reason I struggle to.  I'd rather a Ricky win than an Ali win though.

Ricky and Natalie want it too much, I think that's why I don't like them. Ali seems a bit more surprised that she's doing so well which is why I find her endearing. I don't know why but in this show only, I find that people openly being competitive makes me dislike them. I didn't like Mark Rampakash and Karen Hardy when they won because Karen was so openly hungry to win.

Apparently the bookies have upped Chris and Ola to win. I guess they have the public vote but I can't see them getting past the other two next week, as much as I would love to see them do. The papers are saying that Ricky has lost the public vote as he was arrested last week? I've not heard anything of it. I just don't like him all that much.

Yeah it's true, Ricky's been in the bottom 2 the past 2 weeks since his arrest.

I'm going to have to go with Ali as she comes from my town and apparently did ballet at the same place I went to.

I think the same thing!!!!

I'm a Chris and Ola fan all the way...even though I have a sneaking suspicion Ali will win...

Apparently the bookies have upped Chris and Ola to win.

May sound silly, and maybe I'm totally gullible too... but can you actually bet on Strictly?

Yes you can. In fact you can bet on pretty much anything.

Ali's whole 'little old me?' routine kind of gets on my nerves.

Well, I mean, I know I can get a few friends together and make a pool and bet... but actually bet at a professional bookies?
