Does anyone have any tips on how to find or choose a good tax attorney? Is there any kind of central registration place where you might find them? Would any of them have UK offices? (I'm desperate by the way.)

Are you looking for a US tax attorney?

Here is a list of US tax preparers in the UK provided (although not necessarily recommended) by the US Embassy. Some of the larger firms may have tax attorneys as well:

Thanks kate_mate - I don't think any of those do do the attorney side of things (I have found someone now) - but thank you for posting the information.
