No job no visa
« on: September 20, 2009, 09:38:57 PM »
Just a tiny vent.  My husband recently graduated from uni and is now searching for a job.  Its been only 2 months but still nothing.  He hasn't worked since returning to school so has no work history for the past 5 years (he had to do an access course to get into uni).  And so with no job for him our finances are just to close to get me my spouse visa bargalargalgaljgldjl.  So i'm stuck in america working a crap job waiting.  Any part time job he would get would be enough for me to get the visa (he has a lodger and that pays for all the bills).  I just hope someone will give him a chance soon.  :-X

Aww Shoogle...I'm sorry to hear this.  I wish you good luck and I hope he is able to find something soon.  Like you said, anything to have money coming in (and hopefully boost your savings amount) would help.  I know it's not ideal for a recent college grad, but even working at a local shop or something like that is bringing money in.  Here in the US, I've seen a lot of my friends graduate from college with nice degrees, and end up working as a waiter or something of that sort until they can get a job.  Where I live, no experience = no job...no matter what type of job you have.

Keep your chin up though...what is meant to be, will be.
